I will be happy to go on 1 st of Jan if there is no one else ready/willing at the time.
(If you don't mind telling me) who is the map maker and what is his map?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
It is Ajax (his bnet name, not sure if he wants me posting his real name/project here yet). I've helped him a good bit with his project, but he has spent a lot of time in the editor learning to do stuff just so that his project could be made. A game maker who makes a game cuz he wants to play it; the best kind!
Was typing it up as you were posing this! Happy new year all! Hopefully the new site format doesn't deter people from taking part. Does anyone have the power to sticky posts anymore?
Regarding this month's monthly testing thread and the low amount of feedback it got, it seems that people are much more comfortable with testing non-random, 1-player maps than multiplayer and random maps.
Compare to the 11th bi - weekly, robinicus map get better amount of feedback.
And the 11th is part of 9 maps campaign.
I was comparing it to the first monthly campaign, SC2BiS, which did have a lot. I think Rob's didn't get feedback because of the learning curve the map adds (not necessarily a bad thing, rob)
If you want feedback, I could correct all the English for you.... (also I could reiterate that I find the 9th part to be way to dialogue/cutscene heavy)
I could also do a playthrough on hard once I finish up lifeforce (hopefully by this weekend), if you'd like.
I think it is common for arcade multiplayer games to get less feedback on average. It is difficult to get a game going at your leisure, and it can be difficult to write a review while playing, since you cannot pause.
That said, I feel there is a lot of good information in the reviews. The reviews are long and address the problems found in detail, and offer solutions. This is the goal of the initiative.

Nah, I already know about the english typos. Jay and Deltron already point them out on their videos.
Hey cool. It'd be awesome to see your playthrough.
I am a little confused on the 'project' in the original post. I have a map in the Arcade right now that i would LOVE to hear feedback from but I do not have it listed ~here~ as a 'project'. do I need to make a thread in "Map Review" or maybe start a "Project" to be considered for this feedback? not sure~ So i'm going to just list my map here to get things stated, sorta speak. lol. It is published in the Americas Server only. Name: Desert Strike Trinity
Game link: battlenet:://starcraft/map/1/280805
Type: Tug-of-war, 3v3, 2v2, 1v1. Brief Description: You build structures in your base that will translate into the units that spawn at the end of each round for each players turn.
More info on the game can be found on the "game info" online or you can simply ask me here or PM me if you like as well. Thanks for any feedback or replies.

The monthly tests are set up by me; typically for freshly released projects. This thread is used for submitting your project to the monthly testing initiative. Currently, I have about 4 months worth of projects lined up; so if you are just looking for general feedback, in a timely manner, you can create your own thread in the map review, and see who bites.
As mentioned above, I have some works lined up; and for march-april, I plan to do a RTC project every week, rather than monthly testing; since I'm sure there will be a lot of people who need feedback in a short amount of time. Though I can add you to the list ^_^. Hopefully by then, we will be able to create project pages again!

Edit: Never mind - no offense intended but - this isn't a project being projects are open for people to down load. Sorry for any inconvenience on my part. Have a nice day.

Well, good news is I've finish the mission launcher and the 1st mission of the new campaign.
And I'd really like to put it up for next February project testing.
Bad news is, I can't put it up here.
Here is the reason :
Can not create new project ?

Just upload the maps to dropbox (or something similar) and provide the shared links on the project page. It's a workaround until they fix this issue.
Edit: Try uploading them as .zip files.
