I open this thread for feedback and tips about bugs and models for the mod (campaign and Multyplayer) of this Remake of SC1 (credits for the SC1 Remake team, SC Mass Recall team and various modeller of SC2mapster for the models and portraits) this is the models and portraits used in the mod:
NOTE: We decided to use SC2 portrait of Raynor, Kerrigan, Mengsk, Zeratul and Overmind for a lore question, because in the artwork and flashback of SC1 they appear like SC2.

But what do you think GN? You have some tips for the remake? (to warn you, though Stukov is in the list, not the picture we are using it as giving us MANY problems, but I think Soul already advise you)
But seriously this looks amazing. I love that you're using models that actually look like their SCBW counterparts. Now if only somebody would make a better Overmind model. :P
Yes, we have all SC1/BW sounds for all races, the critters too XD
For the Overmind we used the SC2 eye for the First Overmind, and the SC1 eye made by Soul for the Second Overmind, but don't exist already a SC1 unit model of SC1 Overmind (I will use that for Second Overmind)
I'm glad you like out project :D (we switch the model of the Shuttle with the old one, but now it have new texture :D) i will upload the image soon
In arcade: Search for "SCR-TGW" in arcade ("SCR-" should find it too. They're the initials of "StarCraft Reawakening: The Great War") or "SCBW - SCR-TGW" the extension mods.
Cacho , you're wrong. Korhal floating Island is another map , created by LSPrime. The KeSPA version of Fighting spirit is a brown\grey version of the original FS. They have the same layout though.
Korhal floating Island is the Ladder map , soon to be removed :O:O
The maps on the arcade will be called "BW - Name of the map (SCR-TGW)". In that way, anyone who is searching for our project will find only our maps, and if somebody is searching for a BW map will find it too.
Yes, the mod is bassed on SC2BW, and Ieza has made some triggers to limit the selection amount, disable smart cast, etc., but they're still being worked.
He've uploaded another map with our mod those mechanics. Look for SCR - Breakout in EU arcade.

All the maps must be copied to the sc2 instalation "maps" folder. ...
I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out how to get any of this working. I've copied all the mod files into the mods folder. there isn't a maps folder anywhere in my Starcraft II folder (I'm on Mac, does that make any difference?) that I can see, so I've created one and put it in various different locations to test/try to get this working, with no luck. But then again I'm not even entirely sure where I'm supposed to be looking for these. If I click the Arcade button from the main screen and search for "SCR-TGW" I get three maps that seem to be nothing to do with any of this SC1/BW stuff. Am I looking in the right place?
I'm very much a newbie to adding stuff (mods/maps/etc.) to SC2 so I freely admit that I really don't know what I'm doing. Is there a guide for this stuff anywhere for newbies? Or can you spell out the specific instructions for these files in more detail to make them completely idio... er.. newbie-proof? ;)

Hello. I think you guys should change the name of the mod to Brood War Mode or simply
Brood War: [Map Name]
so that people will be able to understand it faster and therefore get popular way faster.
Icculus's "peepmode" had this problem as well. It has to be as easy as it can.
edit: also, is this mod based off of SC2BW? sc2bw has really good bw mechanics, you guys may want to imitate that.
