It's strange, it pisses me off when the enemy doesn't waste fire power on Khaduros and start focusing my backline expensive units, that happens only if he is on fight with some sentinel zealots, otherwise he get focused hard, it's funny see him going ahead taking few damage on brutal
Re: Nova assets, I was under the impression that everyone, including Starter Edition folks, had access to these assets in the editor. Along those lines, anyone should be able to play any map with Nova assets in them, right?

I'm not entirely sure. I know the doodad assets are available without the actual DLC. I believe they're included within the Void dependency. However, any other assets like the new units and what not requires the Nova Art Mod, which can only be accessed by those who own the DLC.

I'm pretty sure anyone can use the nova dependency. I added the nova dependency to my mod and can still play all my maps in spite of not purchasing it, I've also had no one complain yet that they can't play. What you can't access without paying is only the maps themselves, just as it was with lotv.

PLayed mission 15. Good work! Feelt like I was everywhere on the map in part 1 =). Second part I wasn´t able to beat, could not reach two of the cannons in the begining area, will try again tomorrow. Great terraining!!! Overall, well done!
For some of the cannons that are blocked by doors you have to use Baldwin's C-4 ability to pass through. Hope you'll be able to beat it!

Hmm, I know that within the Trigger editor there is a bunch of Charge-related actions that either can add or remove charges. I haven't heard of a trigger like what you're searching for, but perhaps if you search it up, maybe you can find something along those lines in the Triggers. I'm sorry I'm not able to help you further than this.

Hey Dudki, I've loved the campaign so far and I'm looking forward to more!
I was wondering, would you be able to do a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the Choose Unit loadout at the start of a mission, similar to yours? Or could you point me in the right direction somewhere? I'd deeply appreciate it.
Keep up all the great work, man. I want to see your story conclude! :D
Making a selection dialog at the beginning of a mission is actually pretty simple. The only annoying thing is figuring out how big the dialog should be, but once you've made it once, you can luckily just copy-paste it over. You make the dialog, apply a trigger that checks which button you pressed, then unlock that upgrade to the player with the "Add Upgrade Level for Player" or if it's between two units, "Disallow Ability for Player" and hide one, like the Zergling and Swarmling strain from the command card if you choose Raptor.
It may sound confusing but I recommend checking out how I did it in my trigger. It's located under Map Initialization -> Dialog: Difficulty Choosing.

Hmmm... Odd. I know I used Nova assets for mission 5 in my campaign, but I have not purchased the covert ops campaign. Which map is this so I can see for myself? Could the problem have been caused by 3.3. Blizzard updates can sometimes ruin perfectly good maps. Or could some assets be locked and not others? Hopefully this is unrelated to the Nova dependancy. It would be quite sad if they turn out to be blocked off to map makers.

Mission 11: Yeah, I played it but didn't really get much out of it. There was a good amount of talking and lore and grinding that I didn't really pay attention to. I listened to a podcast while playing. It's about the same experience as when I was still playing MMOs. The nostalgic feelings it gave me were hard to describe. In any case, good job.
Mission 12:
This is the first Zerg mission in this campaign that I legitimately enjoyed even though I played it in what could possibly be the most boring way possible.
First off, let me make some comments about the change in game mechanics. It was weird and interesting, being limited to resource pick-ups and a single base. I'm not entirely sure if I liked the change but it mixed things up and gave me a different experience. Defensive buildings and the Nydus Network being on different build hotkeys threw me off but nothing too drastic.
Now, as for the actual mission, I was quite happy with it for a number of reasons.
For one, Krayen is basically pre-Zerus Kerrigan now. 500 health, lots of energy, can kill things quickly with a single ability. I like how versatile he's become. No longer is he restricted to a support role due to his less than ideal health and energy, he is now an offensive tank with really good sustain.
Early on, the strategy I went for was pretty much the same as everyone else: Roaches. They have regen when they burrow, have high armor and health, and deal a good amount of damage. Weirdly enough, Corpser Roaches are so much better in this mission than in the HotS campaign. It's mostly due to the fact that you can't be constantly making Roaches. So having units that make more units for free is has more utility than having a good unit that becomes progressively better the more you have of them. I also added some Hydralisks and ran around the map with a small group of units. Literally like HotS. I loved it.
Later, I started making Mutalisks. Sundering Glaives. Oh how I love that upgrade. I used them mostly for defense and didn't really roam the map with them. I wanted a big enough ball for what I took the objectives
The strategy I went for was possibly the safest and at the same time, the most boring. Instead of taking out the Hatcheries one island at a time, I decided to clear the entire map, cover it with creep, and then take the Hatcheries one after another.
During the defense sections, I loved playing around with K'zool. She's basically a one-unit army. I almost didn't need my other units. My favorite ability is definitely Razor Swarm, or at least that what it looked like it was. The area damage over time + slow made basically demolished anything trying to go through the choke points.
Overall a fairly fun mission. First one from the Zerg that I liked. Congratulations.
(I feel like I wasn't able to say all I wanted to say with this so I may make a follow up post for when I better understand how I feel about mission 12)
I succeeded in creating a Zerg mission you enjoyed! :D
I'm pleased to know you enjoyed the mission. Hope you'll enjoy the next few ones too. They are macro, and I feel that you can play them in a bunch of different ways.
Glad you like the new Krayen, but this is not even his final form, son. I have one more upcoming ability that's going be make him a force to be reckoned with.

Latest missions are too difficult for me especially that one with the cannons I couldn't get past :/ but in reality they're actually pretty good, but just not my skills level. It's great to see Annihilation start getting new missions released though because it's been quite some time.
And so that Krayen guy's form is changing? Like a supah saiyan?
Have you tried playing on some of the lower difficulty levels? It's a shame if even the lowest difficulties are unbeatable for you :/
I agree. I haven't been able to release missions as fast as I want lately. For some reason, they're just starting to take longer for me, and combined with the fact that I've been rather busy things are just going sooooo slow.
Because of exams, I've barely been able to work on A16. Finished the terrain like a week ago, but only just finished the intro cinematic (Which is very short and simple) yesterday.
As of Krayen; Kind of. He will certainly become more powerful for a certain amount of time, that's for sure.

When you say certain amount of time, you mean he loses his powers? Like FGT Ichigo? (I think I'm drawing too many comparisons based on coincidences but I find it particularly fun to do)

Dudki, i want to ask for help. Is there any way how to check charges of abilities? For example:
When my ability charges are at maximum (5/5), then I want play transmission. Only when the charges are full. Any idea?
