StarCraft II: Annihilation Campaign - A 24 mission single-player campaign featuring unique heroes, custom tracks, boss battles, a varied set of mission scenarios and three intersecting storylines.
I'm having a problem finishing 03: The Idu'ran. After you reunite with your brethren and kill the last (I presume) terran outpost, the one with a barricade just behind, happens that I can't find a way to trigger the ending, nor seeing any possible beacon to trigger it. I'm left with my units, the yellow spare ones romaing freely and the object Terrans are supposed to besiege and try to destroy. I've moved to any possible locations without success... is it designed that way? Maybe something comes after some extra minutes? Been like that for 5 minutes or more... and I don't know what else to do.
thanks in advance, I'll post a review once I'm done with the available chapters!
Hmm, did you enter through the ventilation systems and into the escape pod room?
When you enter the room, Nassarin should appear and tell you what you need to do. Then, right in the middle, there should be a beacon you will need to step on with Khaduros in order to activate the section.
If I understand this right, there's no beacon there to activate? If that's the case, I think some of the triggers might just have bugged out for you, unfortunately. That can happen sometimes. I just played the mission from start to finish and everything worked as intended.
Did you save earlier in the mission? If yes, try to load from that point. If that doesn't work, you might need to play the mission again in order to fix the issue.

It happens after the Nassarin scene, when the rest of the Protoss army summons with you and you kill that outpost I've mentioned before. The map appears tinier, with an old beacon placed northeast, unreachable. I kill the T outpost but nothing happens. I've tried to find a ventilation system yes, but I can't find anything by the life of me, haha!
The ventilation systems entrance is located just by the sidd of base. (If tou look in the middle of the base, and scroll your camera slightly south, you should spot it.
Alternatively, if you watch the cutscene beforehand, it shows you exactly where the ventilation systems are.

Is it really that bad? I find it funny how many people are bothered by such a little detail. You're not the first one to complain about it :p

When I make maps I try to fit in with the blizzard style, trying to copy their details. Annihilation campaign looks to me like it also tries to be high quality/blizzard style, which makes details like these strike out even more.
If I remember correctly EivindL also puts the portrait on the left side, and he said he does it to keep it consistent with the non-cinematic transmissions. to me this is also the wrong way of looking at it. The transmissions are at a different position anyway. Portraits should only be towards the center when there is no space at the corners.
(Imagine how good that project must look if THAT is the one detail people have a problem with :P)
I don't really know about the gameplay but by looking at it it must be the most beautiful sc2 custom map(s) I have seen. Do you make your terrain first and then the gameplay?
If I remember correctly EivindL also puts the portrait on the left side, and he said he does it to keep it consistent with the non-cinematic transmissions.
The whole thing started out with me forgetting to move the portrait down during cinematics in A01 and A02. I think it was at this point people complained about it. I ignored it for a while but eventually when I was really far into the campaign, I realized that people were still complaining. Because I've gotten so far, I've just decided to keep it in the center-left because of consistency.
If it really bothers people that much, I will try to move it in the future. I tend to forget a lot of times, though. After getting used to center-left portraits for so long, it will be difficult for me to adjust to something different, but I'll try.

Hey, thanks!
I almost always make the entirety of the terrain first. For a few multi-section missions, I have also made the terrain for each section, and then trigger it, then repeat until the map's done. It really depends on what I feel is best. Some missions are really complex and benefit from having the triggers made as I progress through the terraining.

Look marvelous :)
Look good but it annoys me so much that you put your portraits in the left instead of the bottom left :) makes the eyes wander too much

Would it make you mad that I kinda now wanna add you to mapsters and put only your portrait in a crazy spot like the top right...
Cinematic portraits should be bottom left and gameplay portraits should be center right. Anything else is disgusting.
Cool to see more of the next mission. Seems Krayen is going back to where he was in mission 6.
Wrong.
Portraits should allign with the text.

lmao, genius :P
Or better yet, constantly have it change position to anything other than bottom-left!
