Wandering in different locations, as a Bounty Hunter you'll have to survive to the others. You have one unit, no auto-attack and some special abilities.
Use your abilities subtly to trap, hunt and kill your enemies!
A skillful and challenging map, with a lot of fun while playing with friends on microphone!
Greed mode: http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/bounty-hunters/pages/greed-mode/
Carrying items gives you 1 point per second and per item. You win if you reach the right amount of points... for this, you have to survive against other players and you can't hide !
This original mode is based on simple idea : The enemy of your enemy is your friend.
Once someone carry an item, you have to cooperate with your enemies to take him down... but when he drop the item after death... your "friends" are no longer friends and you'll have to fight them to pick up the treasure.
Deathmatch mode:
No items, only kills. First to reach the right amount of kills win the map.
Team Deathmatch mode:
Deathmatch mode in team.
Sudden Death mode:
Deathmatch mode for pros. Just attack and Power Surge, 100 HP max.
Hmmm..... Looks like all but one of your abilities was a pre existing ability. Why? Hero arenas thrive or die on their abilities. I think you need to ask yourself what will make people play your map? Especially when anyone can literally remake your entire class/hero selection in 10 minutes. Maybe you don't care if people play your map and you only made it for yourself, if so then I can respect that.
Sorry to be so blunt, I just want to see everyone making awesome maps. We all work so hard on them. I want the level of mappage to be raised! If you need some help creating some custom abilities or brain storming some idea feel free to shoot me a PM (but only if you want to make some awesome abilities, i refuse to have anything to do with boring ;)
This game is about gameplay, having lot of fun, not saying "hey, look how I handle the skill editor". People play this map because it's a real fast-paced one, easy to learn but hard to master, with a great variety of maps (19), nice finishing touches, and 4 different game modes. High repliability and game rythm.
Do you really think some players will say "I don't play this map because I can make 2 heroes in 10 minutes on the editor" ? Of course not, especially when the heroes are 5% of the map. =) (I challenge you to make the whole map in 10 minutes ;))
You know, this is actually an awesome map and you should try it (you'll also see I really worked hard on it). It was the #1 Arena game on EU on old times (when Battle.net was worse than today), and with ONLY ONE hero. ;)
So I played it ... it is kinda like a more basic version of Smashcraft ... and that is not a good thing.
Saying heros are only 5% of an Arena map really shows your ignorance to the entire genre. It is all about the heroes, and you basically have one with pre-made abilities which shows that while yes, you might have worked hard on the game, you have not worked anywhere near hard enough to pull off a polished map that will be able to combat the popularity system.
It has potential but it is basically a empty game.
