Man i just got bored and checked your Crimson Moon campaign (now at mission 6), and want to say it has realy good quality. I mean, you make it very interesting in terms of story and script even without some advanced triggers and data engineering :). It's just cool and solid storytelling what make gaming experience very enjoyable. Wish you good luck with this one.
Interesting base layout, looks like a lot of lifting off, cliffjumping and high ground vs low ground will take place there! :D
I'm not sure if that picture is representative. :D The main purpose was that I just wanted to let you guys know I'm back at it again, and that I've done some substantial work so far. Just need to work my terrain muscles; haven't really done Skygeirr before (or any platform, really).
Just came back from the cinema myself. Don't know what people have against it. It was good :D
The story is more complex then before, the problems of the story that has alwais that stupid USA-Patriotic feeling and the fact that all character that are not transformers are useless (should i mention the thousands of clichès ?)... These problems are still here, but the visual power of the Transformers films is incredible and worth to watch all the times... Is talking a guy that love deep and complex stories... I love Transformers even if the story is 90% shit... I sure prefer EvindL stories ... Such atmosphere :)
Skygerr ??? ADD CANNONS!!! EVERYWHERE !
Other stuffs would be hidden labs, fortress... Something that show you that is a heavy armored science facility TOP Secret
Some secret terran technology? Zerg Samples OP ? Protoss lame psy techno ? There would be enemy support ships that come to kill you and stop your invasion of the Skygerr installation... I am really looking forward for Annihilation Campaign (even if i already have to see his full potential) and your campaign, as i call them EvindL® Campaign, rating from the emerging DefilerRulez™ rating sistem.
Delta, did you know that if set the computer player difficulty to brutal, he will move away damaged units (and then back again), as well as trying to avoid area effect spells, like psionic storm? You'll see in this mission (I just discovered it myself).
I finished recording Amber Sun last night. Just WOW. Incredible. I don't know if there are tester spots open for AE, nor can I decide if I'd want to if there are. Because - I'm unsure if I'd rather wait for the months it will take you to finish AE before playing any of the maps (as I'll be recording/uploading them of course!) so that they will all be un-spoiled for me like CM and AS were when I recorded them!
I was going to talk to you about AE, actually, the chief reason being that I wanted to tell you that ideally, it's best that it's not recorded until the entire thing is finished. My campaigns tend to change a bit while they are being made (I still change some of the details of CM and AS now and then), and although I know where AE is going, I have enough experience under my belt not to proclaim that nothing will change. Of course, I wouldn't order you to do anything. But if you record a video, you might end up doing so of a too-old version. And I like you recording unspoiled. Love your theories.
As for testers: there might be an open spot coming up. I haven't gotten a response from one of the current testers, and although that might be explained by the long break between mission one and two, I might end up adding another member to the crew. To make sure it's fair, I will announce later of what I have decided, and whoever ends up volunteering first after the announcement gets it.
