Below. Would it be possible to have the lynch type box just say "Secret Ballot" or whatever and have the extra info be a tooltip for that? Also, sorry if it seems like I'm just criticizing, I only do it because I love the map so much. Getting a flawless victory is so satisfying (no deaths on your side).
Just wondering, would you change the names of stripper & hooker in the EU version automatically, or just wait for the blizz team to find out about that one and give you another warning? =/
Still can't wait for all the other roles. Currently the sheriff has a 100% chance of getting someone's identity right ( Provided they don't change the settings under godfather ). Looking forward to a role which makes a sheriff's word less unanimous.

Sounds like you've been a sneaky mafia.

Actually, Sheriffs just say Mafia or SK or not. You can turn off Godfather/SK for that, too. I prefer Investigators, though. And yes, I've been a very sneaky Mafia, but also a very good townsperson. Played a game as town where the only death was a leaver due to very good luck on the first round and good deductive reasoning.
Also, DR, does investigating somebody more than once give extra information? Like first time you investigate a SK, it says knives. Second time, does it just say knives again, or something more definitive?
There is only one descriptive line for the investigator. He's a role that does not appear in other Mafia games; he's sort of my own thing and I like his unpredictable nature of detection.
Might want to add a "ban list" so ppl know who the Skype cheaters are.
Kalypso and Yepa for example, played with them on two occassions now, always skype cheat to let one team win, even if they're on different sides. There's one more that helps but I dunno his name.
Is the random Game Modes decider intentional or is it not possible to detect the host?
I really enjoyed the game, a few things I thought I'd mention:
The start takes quite a while usually. Often ppl always leave before it's even started. I think it would be better to cut it down to a few basic options and have a separate advanced options. This way new players can just do the important changes they want and start it up fast.
If it starts at night it's a bit lame how players randomly start the game dead. There's literally nothing they can do?
The do you have any last words part please cut it down a little bit. You could crunch it better, start the timer and let someone talk instantly as soon as the cinematic starts (guy walks over to be shot etc.). This would cut off about 5 seconds of waiting at least.
Here's an idea. So I agree that setup takes a while. I don't mind, but a lot of people quit before it is done. Maybe let players save a game setup to a bank and load it for a quick setup? You wouldn't have to worry about bank security because it's not anything important and you can just change the settings yourself if you wanted to.

Did you not notice the big SAVE SLOT variant? I added that a couple days ago. Just pick that variant, set up the game, start, and the next game when you use save slot it should retain all of your previous save slot information (it doesn't save role options for roles that are not added, though - if you are working off of custom role options for randomable roles you'll have to edit those back manually). Later on I'll have a save button, but that's a fair bit more work. For now, this is the solution (it saves when you start the game).
Hi DarkRevenenant. First of all I would like to see great job creating this map. Really enjoy playing it with my friends. I have one suggestion though concerning the way you color names and the visibility of the intro setup screen. When my screen is set up normal I have a very hard time seeing dark colors, such as brown. So when someone dies I can sometimes only read "... has been killed". It would be helpfull if you perhaps could design all colors so they are clear and bright, or perhaps get rid of the color scheme alltogether and perhaps replace it with a white/dark contrast, so all text is white and background dark.
As for the setup screen, its almost completely impossible to see unless i turn my contrast and brightness way up, and that, especially at night, just makes my eyes hurt.
Anyway I don't want to impose too much and interfere with your map, just a couple of suggestion I think could improve an already great map.
I can edit the name color values for brown and dark green to be brighter, but there is a certain point at which I have to pick aesthetics over usability.
There is basically nowhere else to put these interface elements. Would you prefer the lynch type box to appear on top of or below the role info box?

Just played this map for hours today. It's a lot of fun, great job. I hope you continue on making this one even better!

Yes was a nice idea. Loved it how we lynched the doctor cuz I found "sharp knives" on him and thought he was a serial killer :p.

HOW DID YOU HIDE THE CHAT MESSAGES?
Member since 2010. Made the -The Thing- [Revival] game. Nostalgic of the WC3 days.
I did a UI layout override. Do you want it or something?
