Hi Guys, so will be starting to post the videos in a day or two, mostly in the order the requests were received. However, just wanted to remind any procrastinators that the last day to put a request in for the moment is today, within the next 23 hours. It is perfectly fine if you need a few days to finish some feature or whatever, but I still need to hear about your request today.
Hope you have all been enjoying the episodes, and that they have been helpful to the creators.
ok i fixed most things and it's about balanced. it's a hero map with banshees, competititive, so you have to play with at least 1 more. if you play solo you will do the tutorial.
And finally, releasing the first video, would have been sooner, but the power decided to go out for about 24 hours or so where I live, courtesy of the wind.
Checked out Death By Fantasy this time, by rutegar/moustro/wargirl, and played with duckies/wargirl/djMarley.
Over all, a fun little stomp through some war 3 models, with some very limited decision making. I could have lived with feeling like I did more damage to enemies though, and overall probably wouldn't be compelled to play it over and over again, as there was very little variation overall that I could see, most the design seemed to revolve around use as many fantasy assets as possible. But if you like the murder of war 3 models with some micro required, this will be a fun little game for you. And yes, most the humor in the game was wasted on me, just not my sense of humor I guess.
Thats a killer review! With no sense of humor at all. I have play the game and is pretty fun to play with a group of friends. I guess you need more fun friends. Plus you play with Wargirl as if that is not fun enough.
Thanks for the review, Deadzergling! Saw a couple of glitches (like being able to travel into the last area before the boss fight's over) that I'll fix.
Regarding the attempted humor, it is actually a coldly calculated design decision. Since I've never played Warcraft before, I needed a defense mechanism to mask my ignorance of the lore and characters. Making all the dialogue a big joke and breaking the fourth wall is my way of saying "please don't hate me, Warcraft people, for not understanding your universe!" It takes the focus away from my ineptitude and onto something that people seem to enjoy.
Indeed, never promised to be full of rainbows and sunshine with every review of course. I think I'm especially harsh on RPG like games, as they are something I mess with and have a great many opinions on.
You're welcome dude, hoping that can help you make it even better before the deadline. I'd also make sure you look into some of the monsters with indicators, but not anywhere near enough time to react to them. Sort of defeats their purpose. Those seemed pretty common around the giant non speaking dragon boss.
Not sure what being a robot means, but that's okay. Probably something to do with my naturally monotone voice. Goes well with the aspberger's :)
Hi fishy, I don't want to promise anything right now, as I have a backlog of 4 more requests right now. But given its name.... Yea, I'll try to give it a shot when I have a chance.
Over all I really like how it was designed, and most of it, besides, it being frickin hide and seek. Seriously, that part of it kills it for me! Great game though, if you like hide and seek.
Thanks for playing DZ, the things you dislike about the game are what I plan to change in an upcoming patch with the addition of "Dares" for doodads. These will give the doodads objectives they can choose to do in order to reduce the round time.
PS - You can lock your facing as a doodad with right click :)
Nice 380p video. May I suggest using a free service like Open Broadcaster Service (OBS)? You can record videos to save at 1080p then edit them later and post to youtube. I don't mean anything by this, just trying to help you get into the modern age!
Up next in my classic retro 380P style (aka as I forgot to uncheck an option), is Shattered Souls Action RPG by johnfloyd:
If you always wanted to have story time with DeadZergling, you are in luck. Text boxes abound in this, and creep grinding too for no discernible Experience... Still, seems like it could be a lot funner with a few more, and the cutscenes ARE skippable. I just chose not to since it was all new to me. Could stand out a lot more with a little more polish I think, particularly in how the abilities function department.
Thank you for the review, DeadZergling. I noticed some bugs that hadn't shown up in my playthroughs and it appears some of the key functions aren't as obvious as I thought they were. There's an auto-target function for melee attacks that characters can toggle on and off (mentioned in the chicken tutorial and in a tooltip when mousing over your abilities), but it snuck past unnoticed and I really need to make sure folks don't miss that or they'll have a hard time like you did. (Using the auto-target, everything becomes less grindy as you can more easily cut through enemies with melee attacks. It's also a lot more enjoyable than throwing your hammer over and over and over again.)
I've tested it with a couple of friends a few times and they definitely say it's more enjoyable played as a group, so feel free to test another dungeon with friends and using the melee auto target ;-)
Up next is a revisit of something I checked out previously, Gods of Terminion by Chewiest. Once again, enjoy 380P-o-vision!
Now I was told several updates were made, but I couldn't honestly tell what too much. I certainly did better this game than last, but noticed several of the same issues I saw last time. And with it being 3v3, I found lag issues I had not before, hooray! Still, seems pretty good for what it is supposed to be, but definitely in need of more polish.
Hi FunkyUserName and fishy77. I'll be doing some recording in the very near future for your 2 projects.
Anyone else, I will get to your requests eventually, but I'm getting a little on the burnt out side for SC2 recording which makes the feedback quality suffer more than it should. Although I still maintain that just seeing someone else try to play your map is a fairly eye opening thing, really shows you where things aren't clear to new users in a hurry. I've ultimately decided not to enter RTC this year, so not quite as urgent for me to work on my mod at the moment. So re-opening requests for the time being.
Hello DeadZergling, I'm Keudeugi from South Korea, a 20-year-old university student, and a participant of Rock the Cabinet 2015. I just uploaded my project named 'GetHypered!', a competitive dogfight game. Players can control the most beloved Warcraft heroes under a fantastic Warcraft universe. There're one FFA mode and two Team mode, and players can choose whatever they want to play with. They can even make their own experiences with a number of weapons, hats, and accessory combinations.

Will put it on my list Bounty, will be posting videos of the 4 requests I got throughout the coming week.

I'm not sure if you're still taking requests since your title says you're not. But you just posted a review like 20 minutes ago so I'll try anyway.
I have a map Dragon Escape [RTC] (battlenet://starcraft/map/1/265841) - requires minimum 2 players.
Let me know what you think if you get around to it.

Yes, if I could remember to not record at half size when it happens. The modern age has lots of options, some of which I forget to unclick :)
Edit: Can't say the mistake makes me too upset though, rendering for 2 hours opposed to 6-8 is quite nice.
