I just uploaded it at the European servers and played it with a friend.
Its really fun since its that simple, but it would be awesome if it would contain Terran and Protoss in it, so you could have more variations.
I'm planning on getting an update out in the next week or so to deal with the muta imbalance. That's going to be all I have time for until Christmas.
Early January or so I hope to get a much bigger update out. I'm planning to add a 2v2 option, put the other two races in, clean up the UI, and add tips and such to help new players. I also want to get a cool logo and title screen for the game.
I'd like to deal with the lag, but I'm really at a loss on how to do it without changing the fundamental nature of the game. Any suggestions there would be appreciated.

A 2on2 mode with more races would be awesome!
The terrain could be a lot better, so maybe you got some time to overdo that again.
The lag was not that much of a problem I felt.
At first you miss maybe the first two units, but after that you are pretty accustomed to it, so it is not that much of a problem.
I hope you release the "ultra-version" January, so we can play along with friends :D
Great job. This is one of those map though you play a few times and never play again. With more variation, like h34dl4g said, you can make it more strategic and playable more then just a few times.
I really like the idea someone had about multiple spawn bars, like at 50% life the player gets 2 spawning bars make it the X key and at 25% like they get a third C key spawning bars. I think that would open the game up for tons of different strategies especially when you add the other 2 races, but why stop there? Currently zerg have 6 different units, so I assume terran and protoss will have 6 as well, thats only 18 units used and I know there are a lot more units to play with than that. Screw all those naysayers you showed us the baby version of a really neat idea. I can't wait to see old man version.
As for the lag its not that bad (at least not for me) and Blizz may be fixing or at least improving it soon. Maybe you could make the bar fill on its own. then make all the key release triggers key press triggers, that would cut out the tiny bit of lag when you press Z to start your bar and you wouldn't have to hold your key anymore just tap it at the right time, which would make have multiple spawn bars pretty easy to manage with one finger. So you could change the name from "one button mayhem" to "one finger mayhem"

id change it to 2 3 players on each team so that way you can have diffrent strats of unit sending.
