Fantastic! Finally my campaign will be fully hd and perfect for me :D Voice acted with hd cutscenes. Story linked with nova covert ops (no spoilers!). Perfect story twist. I think this campaign will be the first from all of my campaigns with normal and interesting story :D
+ Mothership with possibility to talk with characters and army room to upgrade your army :D Teaser is coming next month :P
Just played through the campaign on hard (saw the weekly testing thread). I'm terrible at writing long form praise all at once (expect a ton of edits while I find more and more good things to say). So I'll just say it's good and challenging in many different ways, and I had plenty of fun. Special mention to all the cool bosses. All of them were fun to fight, even the ravager (once I figured out when the lasers spawned). The heroes were well-designed, even if the hydra is a bit over the top with the 0 damage taken 1/2 the time.
Just take my word that there's a number of good things I can say, but I can't quite write it down.
Not much I can nitpick on, but here's the list.
Missions 3 and 6 could do with a little bit of a difficulty upgrade. The DPS of the snow giants is too low to be a threat in 3, the "constant waves" aren't really more difficult (sending 6 marines every 30 seconds is harder to defend against than sending 1 marine every 5 seconds), plus once you kill a hive nothing can possibly break your base. Hybrid don't do enough DPS to be a threat except the behemoth. (also the 6 boss seems weak compared to all the HP restore stuff you have, I didn't use a single restore on hard)
There's a number of grammar mistakes, most of which that can be attributed to one of three categories in general:
Improper verb tense (most common is missing "ed" or "ing"): "we follow the emergency procedure" -> "we followed the emergency procedure" (for example)
Nouns that are plural/not plural when they should be "there is a lot of creeps" -> "there is a lot of creep"
Sentences that would be a little smoother (at least for me) if words like "are, a, the" are added. "allies dies" -> "an ally dies" or "an ally has died"
Not big mistakes, but they make the dialogue seem a bit clunky. I'll point out more if no one's willing to proofread.
And really minor stuff:
I think zealot Ben Ar should be 50 or 100 shields and 200 or 250 hp. As it is now the main reason you can suffer in missions 1 and 2 (besides the reavers) is really that Ben's operating at 150 hp since you rarely spend a lot of time healing shields before a fight (especially with the really expensive shield regen move). That makes him the lowest HP member of the party, despite being the frontline. (whirlwind should also probably get a buff, 10 DPS is pretty weak compared to his auto-attack)
The Ravenger red lasers come without warning.
The first bits of mission 9 feels a bit slow paced coming off the heels of mission 8 and its base control.
Mission 8 boss #2 feels kinda weak just because of all the time it wastes chasing Mira and doing zilch to the others. I highly recommend it can still cast other abilities during the chase. (If anyone complains, let them know that they can set mira on a patrol circle while the others shoot)
Frivolous stuff:
If the client is staying at the Cradle of Life, how'd he pay the last installment for the mercs? He stiffed us! Sonofa...
Why does the DPS get the energy max upgrade, the support get the energy efficiency upgrade, and the backline medic get the tank upgrade, and the guest party member gets the legendary -33% energy cost. Utterly terrible equips 0/10 team. Only reason they could win was cause of OP hydra who could DPS/tank/and heal thank god he was nerfed.

Are you saying that people found the mission too hard as is? RN once I get 6 tanks up they can't possibly break the bunker line + with 6/6 ups and cloak on the cobra's the hives get torn down quickly.
And again, I can do most hybrid fights without any abilities.

The terrible equips 0/10 was a joke about the team not optimizing their passives (which I stylized as equipment) for a raid groups "roles".
I finished the campaign over the weekend and wanted to make you aware that choosing Painful Truth results in a bug. When a certain character is killed in the following cutscene, the No Hero Deaths objective triggers resulting in an immediate defeat screen and I couldn't fight the boss. This did not happen in the Beautiful Lie ending.

Finally managed to play past mission 2 to the end on hard difficulty (i had to switch language from italian to english to don't have the param/value bug) and i have to say that the campaign was great, but some bosses were godawful imho and there are some minor grammar errors on each mission (i am not posting them, since they are not so big to become a real issue)... Here's what i've found below.
*Mission 2, if i am after the bridge (that break itself) it collpase, but if i am before it, it doesn't collapse and i simply can't walk on it
*Mission 3, i feel that CG Zealots here are a bit small, smaller that a marine on his suit, could be ok to make them a bit bigger
*Game speed on each mission is set to "Normal" instead of "Faster"
*Medic hero is never on the F2 army tab
*The dragon boss of mission 2 is the worst to be honest, that semigrab crystal spell followed by a volley of oneshot missiles feels really random to me, plus the mechanic that alwais manages to piss me off, health regen to bosses
*Macro mission, wh the Command Center is not liftable? Is it intended or not?
*Suggestion for the "....." you used on some missions, only 3 points ar correct "..." more is a mistake
*Selenids should use her LotV portrait to match with her CG model
*Loved the hidden resources on mission 7
*Mission 8, you should remove FireFly from the F2 tab and make it a structure
*The void thrasher is impossible imho, i was able to tear it down to 2000 hp, but his stupid combo grab/missile oneshot was too much for me, even with the invulnerability spell of the Hydra hero and the shield of the adept
*The final boss is too easy with the truth path and impossible (imho) on the lie path, yes i got the buffed Adept but the enemies that keeps respawning teared apart my shield, i am pretty sure that i faced it the wrong way, did i have to save all energy for the shield and run away from the summons and hit every now and then the boss?
* Conclusion, a good campaign with a nice story, but i couldn't digest some bosses... Looking forward for Noir Automata
I disagree with the boss stuff, I didn't have much trouble on the bosses other than figuring out their skillsets.
I can't remember them all, but boss 9 you are on a very tight timer, and I think one of my guys was about to die just as I killed it, so not impossible (as I'm not the greatest players)
- Mission 2 Collapsing bridge, seems there is a bug with the doodads actor. If you load a save game the bridge will reconstruct itself. I've tried several workaround so far I find no solution.
- Ah yes, I know what you mean. I was also going to make them bigger but then I remember they all scientist. So I decided to leave it as it is.
- Well yes, that way the player can choose which speed suit their play style best.
- Seems there is a bug, F2 should select all army. Thank you for the report.
- Actually the cocoon was to let the player know 'hey, I am going to volley this char I capture. Best be prepare'. You could then use temporal shield /void armor or you could just run that char waaaay across the screen away from it's volley range.
- The facility is inside underground complex, as an attempt to add realism I make the command center un-liftable. And also, youtuber Redler Red7 shows a video how to break the map using liftoff.
- Thank you for the suggestions, I'll put it into consideration.
- I know it seems difficult at first, but once you know the boss abilities you could carefully exploit them to your advantage.

Just finish watching everyones youtube playthrough and I said to myself :
"I think HoD deserve better, and could be better, with mission launcher, few cinematic maps, update models [many new awesome models from our sc2mapsters model creator !], polish maps, improve A.I etc ".

Mission 00 Prologue - We are soldiers
Something that was suppose to come out before Temple of Doom.
Revolve around how they first meet.
Also serve as a tutorial for heroes and skills training, and how to fight the boss as a team.
It was about 80% done but was scrap, because at the time I figure no one need a tutorial and how to play starcraft II.

That is strange, I just finish playing it.
I both watch and skip the cutscene. The triggers works fine here.
Anyway, I will do some minor terrain polishing and will release version 9.5A later.
Perhaps the newer version will work for you.

- Add a mission launcher.
- Add a prologue mission.
- Add a cinematic map after prologue / before mission 01 temple of doom.
- Add a cinematic map after cradle of life / before paradise lost.
- Add a new map after last remnant / before lost world.
- Add a new map after attack on titan / before remember me.
- Devide mission remember me into two parts.
- Add custom portrait to Kaiser [courtesy of VastanX].
- Add custom wireframes to units with custom models.
- Change Radamantis unit model to match his Noir : Automata counterpart.
- Change Ben Ar zealot model to match his Tal'darim heritage.
- Major change to some boss A.I and ability, trying to give a unique feel to each encounter.
