Hello everybody, I just finished a map called Bunker Circuits.
This is a custom map in which you can create electronic circuits.
Essentially, electrons (marines) travel through wires (bunkers).
However, there are also some flow-control components like AND, OR and NOT gates.
The map starts out with a pre-made circuit: a binary half-adder.
This sounds epic, It would be neat if you could replicate all electron theory and make it into a game. Sounds like a great way to study before I go test outta ac/dc 4

pretty neat map. I think you should really build upon it since atm all you can rly do is make basic circuits, and it get kinda boring after a bit. I would love to see this mechanic in some other maps, like maybe a tower defence or maybe used as a puzzle in an rpg.
Good idea. Unfortunately I am a poor designer and lack creativity. If anybody thinks of any ideas and I like them, I'll incorporate the idea and give generous credit. Also, feel free to edit the map or use the idea. It is, after all, released under the GPL.
A YouTube video sounds cool. It will be a little while before I get the proper tools (fraps, etc.), but as soon as it is done, I will post a link.
Thanks everybody for your nice comments and ideas :)
Edit: I've tried to do a voice-over introduction video to my map, but with the free version of fraps only recording 30 seconds and having roommates makes me voice-shy, It's probably not gonna happen. Sorry Programmer :(
Just do one that shows the map, you dont have to voice over, you can use annotations. Also fraps is shareware, pretty sure you can find a full version somewhere
Nice game, Rodrigo, but it's very hard!
The funny thing is, I am not even a EE student, but a student of video game programming. I took one course in electronic circuits, lol!

It's pretty cool, you should try it out. Just search Bunker Circuits on battle.net under custom maps. Here is the link to the project: http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/bunker-circuits/
Edit: Thanks to Programmer, there is now an introduction and tutorial video on youtube: Please turn up your speakers as the audio is quite low.
Hope you enjoy it!

I thought this was an awesome idea/map, :D.
inc Hydracid chemist map xD
Will give it a try for sure. And it would be great if you can have an youtube video to advetise the map, at least ppl know basically how to play

Thanks programmer, you gave me the confidence to go ahead and do it anyway.

Discrete math students everywhere rejoice. Except for me, since I could do the work without computerized aids. Still, pretty cool.
Nice. I made a long time ago a flash game that has a similar idea (it uses digital gates): http://www.melosquence.co.cc
Ha, that's neat. Fellow EE in the making here.
