I did have the battle.net closed (even checked task manager to be sure) because I know that with the WoW model viewer it interferes as well. Still nothing.
The problem seems to be I get HeroesData/ instead of HeroesData as a folder name, so it just says there's no such folder (which is true...), but I can't seem to change it and that's why it isn't working.
Someone already offered to get me an m3 model with textures (or a converted obj, depending on if he feels like it) but if that doesn't happen for some reason I'll definitely send you a pm :) Thanks for the reply
Sorry to bring you so far back in time but I was trying to access Heroes of the Storm models and I'm able to extract the m3 files but I never managed to convert them into anything different. Is there any way to change it to a file that can be accessed by a 3d modeling software ? We are speaking about model only rig and animations is not required. I tried running the whole tutorial where you can use SC2 Editor in Autodesk but for some reason I get so many errors from it and it doesn't work ... Suggestions or any database where I can access some of the models ?
@Rhayahana: Go
If you want i can export it for you :D
I can export any model from heroes of the storm + PTR.
I would love that, I'd be forever grateful.
OK, you just want the m3 model and it's textures ?
If you want this, I can see what I can do, just PM me
Btw did you close the Battle.net client app before opening the CASC viewer, cause that is usaully the case

Hi, Can anyone do me a favor to extract the .m3 file for stitches (normal skin),
static mesh and relative textures will be enough, really appreciate it.
