SC2-related maps will benefit from them too. That Abathur is a good example, Tassadar is another, and possibly other heroes they haven't showcased yet.
Terrain and doodads are all warcraft-themed it seems.
As I recall they said that while the maps they showed off are very much fantasy (though not specifically WC but more a general fantasy setting created for the game) that in the final game they do intend to have Sci Fi themed maps as well :)

Heroes looks cool but where are team colors?! Its going to be hard to see anything in combat
I think the health bars/name are either red or blue so you can tell.
Its a MOBA game, it doesn't need team colors.
