I doubt anyone minds if I post my channel here, need to advertise it a bit ;)
Anyway, IntoStarCraft is a youtube channel founded somewhere around june last year, and has had tons of inactivity. We started out as a bunch of guys that wanted to try out casting shortly after Starcraftarena.net was founded. We had I think 6-7 people on the channel, but there were various reasons for why none of them could cast any longer...
Now it's me, Wolflisk and Crucius (Australian guy that first had the idea of the channel) doing vids for that channel. You can see my Card Shuffle vid which was already newsed twice, I and Wolf recently uploaded a 2v2 we played, and Crucius will be uploading melee vids from the Australian universities he casts games for (and other vids if he gets time)
Videos that appear on the channel:
Custom Maps
I will try and cast as many custom maps as I can (well, as my computer can. Any map with the slightest amount of lag or no replay saving makes it impossible for my wooden trash can to record it)
I and Wolf will probably also play custom maps together and he'll upload those (higher quality and settings than my wooden comp as well), he already has a few HLW vids on his channel which we did with kueken
If you want a vid of your map, PM me or post on the channel :)
"Noobcraft" (First person 2v2s)
Me and Wolf got placed in bronze league, even though were both around plat level. Now we get to steamroll newbs =D Anyway, we play 2v2s cause it's fun, and we'll try out any ridiculous strategy you give us! We already did mass infestor (and it worked really well), we can do it again.
I play random and Wolf plays zerg, so I can try out crazy stuff for any race and Wolf unfortunately only Zerg, but that's good enough. Give a suggestion and we'll do it, record it, and upload it.
Melee games
Crucius will be doing the most part here, dunno about Wolf, and I'll make a vid here and there as well. We'll probably try to focus on non-pro replays as there are a lot of great casters already doing those and we just can't compete with them ;) If you have a hilarious bronze level replay, send it to us (email below)
Also, if you tried to participate in a Day[9] funday Monday and have a funny replay, feel free to send that as well!
Tournaments (ISC Cups)
I already hosted a tournament and posted it on Mapster, it unfortunately never finished due to lack of time the players had >.> (EternalWraith got into the top 4 btw)
I'll probably host more tournaments though, as soon as I can be bothered to! If you want to participate in a tournament, post here or send an email. If i get enough people I'll make a new tournament.
"TeamLeague" tournaments
Crucius is the caster for a few Australian universities, and they'll be doing teamleagues similar to the GSTL (teams of about 8, each team picks a player and those 1v1, loser gets kicked out and replaced by another team member, winner stays and 1v1s him. First team to lose all players loses)
If you have ideas for things for us to do, feel free to email or post!
Also, the channel is supposed to be a channel with multiple casters, so if anyone wants to join in and try his luck with casting, email :)
In Noobcraft, because it's just messing around and not taking anything seriously, I could play any race if a ridiculous strat is suggested (Eg Mothership, Zealot, Pheonix xD).
And I also have my own Youtube channel that i'm going to be uploading Noobcraft games to (http://www.youtube.com/wOlfLisK). Also planning on doing custom game reviews and Map night highlights soon.
What I really want to see is a channel that interviews map developers, looks at interesting upcoming maps, follows the progress of the maps created by those they interview and others, and perhaps reviews maps.
Not only would it be interesting, but it would encourage those interviewed to progress and finish their maps.
_
A while ago there was a news topic which was an interview with some mapper. Always want to see more things like that.
Could you name some mappers (and, if theyre not on mapster, where I can contact them?) you would like interviewed and questions you'd like to me to ask?
Well thats part of the point is that, I don't know who should be interviewed, it would be kind of a news thing for me. That being said,
----
I remember Kanaru was looking at doing some stuff which I found quite interesting. Not sure if he has progressed on that. He was looking at making a map based on Warcraft Adventures (The canceled Warcraft point-and-click game).
You might interview Rodrigo, he seems an interesting character, though a little annoying at times. Aside from that, I'm sure he'd be glad to promote his games.
I really want to know what Sixen is up to, like everyone else.
Good people to interview are those working on maps which attempt to break the bounds of Sc2 and be exceptionally different, like turn-based games, first-person, Some puzzle games, Third-person etc. People who are working on sort of meta map things is also interesting. AIs, Delving into the possibilities of the editor and such.
malu05 was working on that very interesting third person shooter, Waterworks. {X} As well as his AC130K Spaceship Gunner map.
Legend of Z looks like an interesting map. By greythepirate{X}
There was one arena map which utilized a lot of WoW models. Looked interesting but I've forgotten what it is called.
Project VECTOR by TheKC and malu05. This map looks amazing. I would really really be interested to know how this is coming along, how long till some kind of playable version, and to some extent how they pulled off some of the things they did. Like the shot of you looking out the window and seeing the other part of the battlecruiser. This is absolutely the type of game I would like to play and make in Sc2.
----
I just remembered this, SCDebates, who did a few interviews. The interviewer isn't amazing though, and in terms of visuals I would definitely suggest you either play the maps you are talking about while doing it, or edit it into the background.
He asks some good questions, but mainly you'd probably want to focus on the maps they have published, and what they are working on. If the map they are working on has some particularly interesting features (like an FPS or making extensive use of Campaign Cutscene things) you might want to talk about that, ask them how they pulled it off.
Some of those interviews talk about the Galaxy Editor and the Custom Game system which can be interesting too. Things they want to see, what they like and dislike about the editor, etc.
----
All in all this just helps everyone if it works well. Viewers get entertainment and news, Interviewer gets views, Mappers get motivation and promotion.
Well I actually meant annoying with all the complaining about B.net, not the promotion of his maps. But he is often complaining about their unpopularity so I'm sure he'd like to promote them. :P

Very subtle =P
To actually add something though: good suggestions. I'm getting interested in your channel, Maity.

Thx for the suggestions Ardnived :) I'll see if I can get someone to interview. I guess Rodrigo would probably like one ;)
