I'm looking forward to getting to know the map editor, I've barely even touched it as it is, and I have limited map/mod experience in the past.
I was wondering if the galaxy editor had functions to assist with map/terrain/resource symmetry? Or does that need to be done by hand?
yes when you are in the terrain layer. Right click and drag to select terrain. It won't look like the terrain has been selected. But it is. Then at the top go to edit, and copy. Then you can go edit paste. There is also flip in the flip menu.
@Gaurus: Go
Ah, thank you! This works perfectly. Can't believe I didn't think of copy/paste. :)
Umm, I might be doing something wrong but when I right click that drags the camera around. I go to edit and copy is greyed out.
