I'm currently working on a map and have had to face a problem with the Viking morph animation. I have basically dublicated some of the data from the FighterMode and AssaultMode, and edited the corresponding abilities and actor events so that my VikingCopy won't morph into the regular version anymore. The actors change perfectly, but the transition (aka animation) doesn't: instead, the first actor disappears and the second appears without any effect to it.
Could you please try to tell me which is the missing link to the animation that let's the original Viking transform correctly?

p.s.: Is it possible to upload file's into a posting, or if it isn't, can somebody please recommend a good (and free) uploading platform?
Under Actor section look for both Viking and Viking Assault (your copied "actors")
Go to Events Field
Look for Abilmorph.*.Start and Abilmorph.*.Finish; Check if it is the copied units for MorphTo and MorphFrom.
Do this process for both actors.
If everything is correct, you didn't copy one or more of these following actors
Assault Mode (Sound) OPTIONAL it's just sound when transforming
Assault Mode Anim (Event) REQ
Assault Morph Model (Probably what you are missing)
Fighter Mode (Sound) OPTIONAL it's just sound when transforming
Fighter Mode Anim (Event) REQ
Fighter Morph Model (Probably what you are missing)
You can do that now. Make sure you duplicate these actors from your copied unit.
Even though it's a bit late (I didn't have time for mapping the last few days), I want to thank you VERY much zifoon, everything is now finally working as it should. :) It was indeed the Fighter/Assault Morph Anim Actors that i missed, probably since they aren't featured in the lower left-hand corner of the data editor.
