I have a problem. When a player joins my lobby, they become the player number that they joined as. So if they move to the other team to even out the ratio of players per team, when the game starts they enter as what they joined first as. How do I make them start as the player they are in the lobby?
(Owner of (Triggering unit)) == (Player 7 from (Allies of player 7))
This won't work as well, unless Player 7 has more than 6 players on his team. You are referring to the 7th ally of that player, not player number 7. To get lobby positions, use "Player on team" (Player 1 on team 1 == first slot. Player 3 on team 2 == 3rd slot on second team, so if you have 6 slots per team thats player 9)
Yes i did that on most if not all the triggers however, what i meant is that since the players arent going to the right team, a player on team 2 in the lobby gets placed on team 1 in game
I don't see how that can happen, unless you define teams in the triggers in some way instead of using lobby teams. And if it is the lobby that screws up, there most probably isn't a fix apart from setting up teams in game somehow (Maybe through a choice dialog?)
I'm using a function that doesn't allow negative numbers and it gives me an error that says that i'm using negative numbers. Could it be that it references "Not Playing" with "-1"?
