Hello , I dont really know what to do now...
I'm remaking command and conquer Tiberium wars 3 , I made the map , but then I got the problem :well 1 map isnt enough... I cant think of a way to make multiple maps... and I dont want to change everything twice whenever I find a bug , and also I dont want to end up with 4 small maps...
I suppose it depends on what exactly you are asking are you asking about making a campaign like set of maps where one leads into another?
If this is the case it will only be single player since as far as i remember you can not have multiple people load into another map maybe i am wrong.
If say you want to have multiple types of terrain but keeping your core Data
you would need to make a SC2Mod file containing all your data assets.
Then you would just link your terrain to the Data. This would allow you to move all the work you have done around.
Else the only other way might be to make the largest possible map and cut it into 4 chunks and depending on the map you are playing you would just shrink the playable map area and set the camera bounds to that area.
Maybe if you could make the question a little more clear some one might be able to help
Convert your map to a mod, attach mod to another map (Might not work well for triggers, but those are relatively easy to copy over).
Not entirely sure about the details on how to convert, there are multiple ways afaik. Only one I can think of htough is saving as .sc2components, deleting all the terrain related stuff, then saving again as an sc2mod (Or as a sc2map and then renaming to mod)
