Hi :) Thought I'd reboot a map I was working on a while ago. Any thoughts on balance / aesthetics and such?
Also, greetings new forum!
Looks like a pretty good map. Maybe some fancier doodading would make it appeal even more. Decals take a long time to put down I know, but make it variable. Doodads & textures are what give your map variety, because the terrain must be equal.
Looks fabulous visually, not sure about balance (mostly because I don't know too much about melee maps balance).
Try to post the Map Analyzer image. Also, post it at TeamLiquid, they'll give you pretty good criticism on balance (maybe too many open spaces could be imba, for example).
Not sure the point of the debris if you can just go up the center and walk through or even walk alongside the debris since you didn't close the whole ramp. It seems like the natural has a lot of space. If you fill it up with doodads that might fix it. But it seems really spacious in some areas. Other than that it looks good.

How did you do the round concrete around the 'globe statues'? Are those lots of straight bits of concrete or did I miss some doodad?
@Mozared: Go
Ground props, some copying and rotating. :)
The analyzer was a cool tool. :o Wish I knew of that earlier. Positional imbalance AAAAH!
