Hello guys, my real name is Mario Borisov.
I cannot code AT ALL!
That being said, I don't mind testing out maps and/or giving ideas on how to improve, what to add etc. I am no ps wiz, but I can try to make some loading screens. I am willing to dedicate some of my time to help whoever is interested. I don't want any credit or anything like that, I just want to help out the community! If you read that far and are still interested, just PM me and we'll go from there.

Edit: I will be on the NA (North American) server when the game starts, but I am still willing to test out maps from the people in Europe/Asia. The thing is, I cannot test the multiplayer with you guys.
Oh and I currently can't access the map editor since I restarted my computer and its asking me to log in, however the beta accounts have been wiped out :(
Just checked it out, it looks pretty good. So its going to be a defence map type where you will defend your base(s) from incoming waves, correct?
So will the players have heroes or is it just regular units?
Also are you planning to have like a mini cinematic in the beginning explaining the objective? For example, it could be "we need to defend these X from the zerg invasion" and then they have to hold the front for either some time Y or some # of waves. Where X could be something along the lines of an "artifact", which will somewhat tie it in with the original campaign.
Then at the end you could have a cinematic of some dropships, battlecruisers, etc. arriving and saving them and that's how the mission ends

Player 1 shouldn't have 4 bases. Imagine playing a game for the first time and boom you are player 1! you have to defend 4 bases wtf...
I say all 3 players should have 1 base each. Two of them will defend the top (big choke) and the other will have to defend the bottom by himself. But, to make up for that, he will have to deal with aerial attacks from the back. The zerg are being sneaky and sending mutalisks and guardings through the back.
This way they all have important objectives and each has to deal with different problems.

The opening cinematic should be a zerg wave attacking the defence the protoss (?) has set up and then they almost destroy everything and its all in blue flames. Then bam... the game starts and you can have a protoss portrait on the side, which explains what's going on and what's the objective. From then on its either timed or # of waves.
- Also for the top part, the choke should have like 2 big statues on the side and just the whole map should feel as if you are on Aiur (or some other old protoss planet) and you can call the map DoA (defend of aiur). I have some ideas of what the map should look/feel like

Also if they will be defending, mining and getting gas might be too much and not necessary. Their whole income might be based on how many enemies they kill (make killing units give u $). Now that last one really depends on what you want to do and what direction you want to take it. And if you can't decide, you can always do both :D
Hi Mario, I could certainly use some feedback on my project. Did you play warcraft 3 by any chance and have you tried the map Castle Fight? It's loosely based on that, so would help give a general first good idea of how it works. Could go from there.
Anyway, thanks for the offer. I'd love a loading screen made for my test map and my campaign (though it's SC1, so you'll never see it, it'll just be the screenshot for the campaign) if possible. Also, if you want, test my maps and see what you think of Kheldrun (SC2) and the levels (SC1).
I did play warcraft 3. However I have not played the particular map you are talking about. I wouldn't mind testing it when the game comes out. I will just pm you and when the games come out and you are ready you can just PM me back with details
Edit: ok so I checked out some youtube videos and seems interesting. Doing it in SCII might have an interesting twist. It will be more of a base defence, since there are no castles :D Might be interesting if its Protoss vs Terran (or is it just going to be terran vs terran? ; or just all custom )
