First off, let me tell you a little about myself. I am working a semi decent map editor in my mind. I haven't not gotten to proficient at the creation of units and their abilities in either of the sc2 editor or the wc3 editor but i was able to do some basic things. I am trying to create a map based of off a map played in the original starcraft days, Zoids.
So here is where you come in. I was wondering if you would be able to work with me in the creation of 5 heroes for my map with 3 multi leveled abilities and an ultimate ability. You would get full credit in the creation of what you did. I am open to ideas when it comes to those heroes and their abilities. Like i said i am not that skilled in that area.
The basic idea of the map is as follows. There is 3 teams with 3 players in each team. When team is full of computers that run a standard melee ai. On the two player teams there is one builder which creates buildings and units in a melee fashion. The other two players control one unit which is a hero. These heroes level up and support the builder. The map is laid out in a fashion that there is one land path that is completely blocked by a computer base. There is teleportation pads in each base for heroes to use to bypass this base but only heroes can use this. There is also capture points in the map that provide either resources our build a super unit for the builder. These capture points go up to 100% and they are in control when a team has over 50%. (they increase a 1% for each supply divided by 2 that is on the beacon) The primary goal is the survive the computer onslaught and destroy the enemy player's base.
This sounds like a decent map. What kind of hero system are you planning to implement? Dialog/Trigger-based or full data editor? I have no experience making heroes using the data editor and instead just create experience/leveling/upgrade systems with pure triggers.
