This game is super fun. And the Switch is very cool. I no longer need to make maps because I have this game! haha j/k. I do hope to make more maps.... some day... but now that I work, good games come out faster than I have free time!
I do recommend the new zelda though. It's like combining the classic 3D Zeldas with skyrim! And in Skyrim type games I've always loved exploring which is a super strong mechanic in this game!
As for the switch, I think it's so cool how easily you can go from playing on your TV to playing it as a portable. So when the wife wants to watch Netflix on tv, I can just lay back on the couch and continue playing!
When I'm done with Zelda... Mario Kart will be coming out in less than a month... :D
Oh and as a side note, I hate how slow the SC2 editor has gotten on my computer since one of the semi-recent updates. Really puts me off wanting to work in it... I really need to buy a new computer! This one is like 4-5 years old now...
I've been wanting to try xenoblades as well! Looks like they're making a second one, so I'll probably wait for that.
I took out all the 4 bosses before going for ganon, and probably had about 10 hearts and full stamina. There's a spot you can trade hearts/stamina back n forth so I was able to have the Master sword as well. I used the Master sword against 2 of the 4 bosses. Seems like it almost doesn't matter how many hearts you have since most powerful enemies are able to one shot me lol.
Actually that would be the third xenoblades game although only the first direct sequel.
Use the four Great Fairies to upgrade your armor and therefore reduce your damage taken (though 2h mace wielding silver lynels will still take off 8 hearts). I find a 5 shot savage lynel bow with bomb/thunder arrows and the barbarian armor set best for most of the bosses (water and wind fall very fast while thunder and fire only when not shielded).
If you want to cheat use the ancient armor set and ancient arrows.
Loving BotW, I've been delaying the Ganon fight because I'm missing two shrines. I have absolutely no idea where they might be, but am collecting a bunch of stuff to upgrade a lot of my armor to level 4 in the meantime.

I've stopped playing because I've seem most of the landscapes and quests by now. I actually made it into the castle and was right before Ganon's chamber, but then I stopped.
When Hard Mode arrives this summer, I'll start a new playthrough and earn me that ending.
Send a pic of your world map in 4 parts and I will tell you. You done the two snow ball battering ram ones? Collected all parts of the rubber suit? Done the one that needed you to throw a snowball at the wall? The evil statue? The totally not green arrow stranded on the island one? The three dragon scale tribute ones? The one inside the hyrule castleport? The orb next to Impa? One in the desert that needs four torches lit? The one in the ice cave? The actual forgotten temple itself?
I curious what will change with hard mode. Enemies already hit hard enough and such, and I hope it isn't something basic like health change anyways. If it were like Ocarina of Time Master Quest where they seriously change things up, that'd be super cool!

Other was in Akkala off a cliff behind rocks. Next stop is the castle, then Forgotten Temple and the end of the game.

Use barb set with a 5x savage lynel bow with bomb/lightning arrows for the first phase unless the boss is stunned while use the camel spin attack to take the shield down. Final phase is easiest on foot.

I only logged here to find a thread I wrote about map ideas. One of the map ideas was about a Mass Effect kind of map. I wanted to post it elsewhere but i bumped into this thread...
Breath of the wild is AMAZING AND I CAN PLAY IT AT WORK!

THE KOROK SEEDS!
So i'm doing a playthrough of not looking at strategy guides at all and just casually exploring around. Its interesting on what abilities/skills you acquire that was meant to be later on and vice versa. For example, I had a theory that if you collect like 100 korok seeds then the Deku tree will reward you for something but then just YESTURDAY I Found that stupid Hetsu.... So this whole time, I THOUGHT that buying that EXPENSIVE house is the only way to have more item slots! OMG
Another thing is that, I kept stocking up many heat-resistant items to make lots of heat elixirs and health potions because going to Death mountain i kept dying and my stuff kept catching on fire. Finally, I just discovered there were fire cloths you can buy >.< Another thing is that, I kept stocking up many chillrooms and endurance potions/food so i can climb Mount Lanayru and kill that dragon but then I realized Theres the sky outfit AND theres a PATH going to the dragon LOL
Tip: Walk the paths! They will naturally progress you through the game. Don't just paraglide all around LOL (but still fun).
Things i'm trying to figure out right now: - Theres a Korok on top of the deku tree, he says something like, "This scale will zap you it is a ... fish". And I haven't seen any thunder fishes before. I'm thinking its going to be on the West side where its always raining or that Tower where its surrounded by water and thunder enemies
- Theres a Zora puzzle about finding the Zora helmet. "in the ruins near _ _ _ _ lake" and theres Toto lake with ruins and i don't see it and theres other 4 letter lakes nearby but i've explored them. - I'm also trying to find the helmet for the rubber resistance. I forgot how I got the outfit and the shoes, I think one of them was on a random shrine and another I bought at a store so i'm guessing there is a helmet out there for the complete set. - I am thinking there are more than 2 Fairy fountains. I also found a fairy horse fountain. I can't seem to find it. - theres this one shrine puzzle where you have to mount a Male Deer but no matter how many endurance elixirs i drink, those deers keep knocking me off. I know im doing the right male deers.
- Theres this Yiga clan place and I think i found the entrance but theres nothing for me to do. I know there is a door somewhere in this circular room and i know you're suppose to place an item in the middle but i don't think i have the right one.
The guardians that drop the guardian shields and weapons respawn every blood moon.
Check every rock look for any metal block puzzles and make sure all clusters of fruit trees are symmetrical and give offering to every shrine. Also they like circular things like algae to dive in and rock circles to throw rocks or even to place rocks/boulders in circles. Koroks are everywhere.
You get a free piece of the fire resistance suit at the first mining camp (one just above the fire talos) for 10 lizards.
You just need 2 pieces of cold gear so an alternative is to combine the chest piece the king gave you with a ruby circlet from the gerudo jeweller quest. Else just equip a flame weapon.
It is a fish that in the description (photo) says it zaps stuff but the actual cooking effect is just lightning resistance.
It is lake toto and you need a magnet like the ceremonial spear.
Actually both parts of the set come from shrines in areas with constant thunder. The helmet for the rubber set is from the one stables that has constant thunder storms. Hint it is right on the nose of the horse.
one fairy fountain is under the bones to the west of gerudo town. One is near the shieka village and another to the east of death mountain near tingle island can be seen from the nearby tower.
Good weapons become so plentiful later in the game that you will literally be throwing them away. Don't worry too much about managing your weapon inventory!

Once you get the Ancient armor from the tech lab to level 2 or better you can run all major trial of strength shines to restock on Ancient weapons. Each one will take 1 Ancient weapon to defeat but rewards 2-3 back, so there is a positive return. As Evil said, they respawn every Blood Moon.
You can also get an endless supply of Royal Weapons from Hinox enemies. You will need to kill enough of them first before they start spawning with Royal weapons but once they do they drop 2-3 each and are super easy to kill. Use Barbarian armor and open up on them, then when standing walk back slowly until they try and hit you then run fast backwards. They will miss, leaving them wide open for arrows to the eye. They fall over and then can be dealt heavy damage. Using the average Savage Lynal Bow for hitting the eyes with any Royal weapon should easily kill 2-3 per Royal weapon.
Lynal weapons are arguably the best weapons of their class with decent durability and best damage. However you will generally never break even farming them due to how tough White/Silver Lynals are so your only options for general use weapons are Ancient Armor with Ancient++ or Barbarian with Royal. Lynal bows are the best damage bows in the game, especially with 5 shot they cannot be beaten. The best single target bow in the game is the Ancient bow, only available from the tech lab and it is well worth the cost as it has huge straight range and the best durability of all bows as well as deals bonus damage while using Ancient armor.
For easy Rupees farm minerals. Once you get silver enemies spawning rare minerals will be pretty common so do not hold back on selling them. By your house there are 2 respawning hammers which are super effective against rock type enemies, the common sources of minerals. Mark all the Talus enemies on your map and kill them every blood moon. Avoid the ones with the mineral site on their backs as those are hard to hit, only do the ones with the mineral on their head/top as those are easy. Use a bomb to destroy a arm, climb on top of them then use the charge attack with a hammer while wearing Barbarian armor for easy kill. If you done the Gerudo plot you will easily finish them off in a single charge attack. Each drops about 200-500 Rupees in minerals, more if you can use the mineral trader but she will only trade a single type at any give time.
One can cheese Lynals in a variety of ways. If they do not see you they will not attack so you can keep attacking them, moving behind them, and then attacking some more until dead but this needs practice and probably extra speed. You can use the Rito plotline reward to open up with rapid fire arrows to their head using Lynal class bows for huge damage, you can even use their own arrows against them for positive returns. One can infinite stun lock them by head shotting them before they engage you, as long as they do not see you there is a window of ~0.25 seconds odd during which they will be susceptible to a head shot but not act as they have yet to spot you and while stunned from head shot they can be attacked by any means without risk. Most Lynals will end up spawning Silver or White once you kill enough of them. Hardest Lynals to fight normally are on Snow because without using the Snow Boots you will struggle to dodge their attacks. Even with maxed out Ancient Armor, a high defense armor set, Silver Lynals with clubs will deal many hearts of damage but the other Lynal weapon types will deal only a few. Club Lynals are by far the hardest to fight as their attacks have massive area damage which can even damage your shield during a perfect dodge of the main attack. Fighting Lynals fairly is easy once you have saved all beasts and had some practices, you should only be hit 1-2 times at most which could even be shield blocks.
Soooo I may have gotten some cool unofficial amiibo cards on ebay.... and I just might have a fully leveled up Fierce Deity's set now... Ganon, I'm coming back! haha
But it is pretty crazy how scarce nintendo made amiibos. People making unofficial nfc tag merchandise feel like saints compared to people who buy amiibos just to resell them at outrageous prices.

Yiga clan is part of the Gerudo plot line. It only activates then.
