I like the mousepad they have. but its so unpractical...as you would still be using a mouse...and never should be looking at your keyboard to see that display to begin with.
How I was going through it: 6.9 pounds/17", that's really good, 1080P screen, that's really nice, GT555, decent but no gtx460 or 560, decent battery life, etc etc, wait for it.... wait for it.... $2500, $2500 did I read that right? *goes back to gawk at the m14x* fail Razer, you fail
It's Razer, you pay for the brand. Generally, you do get your money's worth with them, though. That said - I couldn't find a price and was curious about that myself. 2500 Euro's does seem steep though - if you want to game that badly, you'd buy a desktop and not a laptop; 'gaming' and 'laptop' is still a contradictio in terminis anyway.
Nice timing on the topic btw, I ordered my new Razer mouse two days ago. And it's left handed. TAKE THAT YOU RIGHT HANDED BASTARDS!
The world brought this upon itself. I've long gamed happily with a Logitech G3 gaming mouse, the best mouse in da world. When I started looking to upgrade to a G5, G7 or even G9 I figured out that ALL those mouses are freaking right-handed mouses. Heck, even ambidextrous mouses are rare these days, let alone left-handed mouses.
With my new special left-handed Razer the world will meet its quick demise!

I still don't understand what you mean by that. There's this:
What it means is that 'gaming laptop' is a concept that's by definition somewhat contradicting. Laptops aren't ideal for gaming due to the simple fact that they're laptops. That's not to say you can't game well on a laptop, but the thing it inherently limiting. It's like trying to race with a Smart. You might even win some, sure, but Smarts aren't made and/or developped to be raced with, so unless you're in a Smart-only race, you're at an inherent disadvantage. Gaming on the go is a bit of a feeble thing - getting a desktop, even today, gives you so much more bang for your bucks if you really want to game.
it's still in development. I suspect they are biding their time with this computer while they get ready to release it by some holiday season, summer, etc. There is a really good chance that it will be made for sale.
Please pardon my French but HOLY SHT!!!

It's overpriced by a lot and Alienwares are actually cooler but hey, it weighs 6.9 pounds and it's a 17" screen. If it was a 15" I would be hooked.

laptop or desktop... I'll stick to my desktop and my 50 inch fucking monitor, thank you very much.
True my gaming pc only cost £1,300 and wont become bogged down by custom drivers.
