A bit unrelated. Ive always wondered about your sig. Is/was it a development team for Sc2, or do you work for a company by that name?. Why does it have a striking resemblance to Raven software?
@EW
Finally, a comment. And again from one of the skilled people. I think I scare the little kittens.
The whole thing is basically the first part of the map intro. I kinda figured with all the UDK work we'll be doing, I wanna wrap up my SC2 mapping with some shiny stuff for you all to enjoy, so it doesn't go to waste, just because we don't like SC2 and it's limits anymore.
On relation to BRS... We have been around since WC3 and it's basically a multi-game mod team, wandering from engine to engine.
Resemblance to the out-of-business Raven Software is unrelated, we just kinda liked the name and came up with a great logo. Well, Tomura did the logo, I did the name. We also like to think of it as a stamp of quality for projects :P
I understand your position with UDK. Its a great mod tool set and definitely for people wanting to advance in the game development industry. So I wish you luck there.
I`ll look out for this other `shiny` Sc2 stuff you might showcase. But yea its a pity you guys aren`t into Sc2 mapping/modding anymore, you would have had great potential.
I know that you made this vs Blizzard making it. It just reminded me of the other scene where the ship warps in. What I don't understand is how you managed top get the quality so crazy high. If I zoom in on doodads they get uglier and uglier.
Ah so it's just an in-game version of the cinematic. Also, you can use SS Models to achieve the level of detail he did. Same thing with some of the portraits as they are very high poly.
Look's schnazzy :)
I mean. . . this is horrible. . . worst thing I've ever seen. Xaragoth is a terrible, terrible map maker. . .
Mind if I ask how you animate the SS models? Most of them just have the 'base' position, with the arms and legs spread out, as if they still need to be rigged/animated. And how you people keep getting models inside battle cruisers? Did you just build one out of doodads, or is that actually the SS battlecruiser your inside?
Anyways looks cool, waiting to see how it ends up ;)
@zeldarules28: Go
I'm just using the Blizzard Animations from the different campaign stuff and the build-in cameras inside the Previewer. Same way it is done by Blizzard ;) Inside of the Battlecruiser is the Hyperion Set and all.
... ain't I ?

love the 30 year old warpin in (honest, it's still as awesome as it was back then) .. wicked vibes to boot :)
but why are the other (old stuff) videos devoid of sound (only saying to propose my help ;^p )
@houndofbaskerville:
Because ... they're ... 1 to 7+ years ... old?
I'm confused. . . what is the first video s'posed to be? I can't really say much until I know what I'm looking at lol
@ProzaicMuze: Go
does it remind you of anything now?
@Reaper872:
It's actually called "Heir Apparent" not "The Deal" ... "The Deal" is the SC2 Cinematic Intro with Tychus :P

Updated post 1 with this one too. Though I wonder why the fuck there are edges right now...
Edit 2: Found the problem, uploading un-edgy-video now.
TSOF - I was waiting for that mod! :D
So, is it only a nice-looking movie snippet, or do you plan to make more with/out of it.
@s3rius:
It's kinda like a Dev Diary :P It's the Map Intro!

So ... I found something on my plate ... figured you guys might like this.
Also, the website we didn't update since we restarted the project is still up: http://tsof.bplaced.de/
Thank Tomura for those shiny.
Made you another one too:
So much for the shiny updates for now.
Just what the fuck is this?
Im pissed now cause I cant tell whats this. A game or a cinematic? are you trying to play mind games with me?
@zenx1: Go Mind games? Nononono, sir! It's simple. Pinkie Pie simple!
