It could be far worse really. Why, Tofu has a lot of bad reviews waiting to be posted before it is even put out there! I hadn't really thought much about making my project easier to understand for newcomers, who will be pretty much everyone.... Which means yet more things in my project that aren't done/started yet, blah.

I agree with the reviews, for the past year and a half i haven't played starcraft much, but when i do i play Mafia, its the only custom game on SC2 Ive ever liked.
In my opinion, just becuase a map does not have a tutorial, and you have difficutly learning it, doesn't mean you should give it a bad rating. If you play a game twice, and don't get it, then either try to understand it before playing, play it some more, or don't play it. If you don't understand the game, then how are you supposed to rate it? Sure, you could say it's difficult to learn, but that gives you no reason to give it a low rating. Basically, when you give it a low rating becuase your confused, you're actually rating it out of rage.
This is unquestionably true, but there's no changing the way people are. I found low score with the comment "was pretty fun for a few games but there's no point in playing anymore after you've beaten it 3 times" - Really?? You've played the game for 5-6 hours and now you give it a bad rating?
Most people rate it 1 star or 5 stars, I'm not sure if I've seen a 2 star rating at all. This is why youtube/facebook have adopted a binary thumbs up/down.

Truth. I don't mean this in a bad way, but choosing your name can be one of the funnest parts of mafia. (Not just for me - I know some other people who really get a kick out of it too)

He and his party of 4 supposedly reported m,e for real life threats when I said I was going to ban them in game xD. Hope blizzard slaps them upside the head for wasting their time.
Can I add? My game isn't exactly good at first impressions.
Let me paraphrase some of them.
"This game sucks, the level design is bland and I'm unaware that there are three other levels to select from, this one I played being the vanilla map."
"This game sucks, it's so stupid that one player will immediately die in the start, obviously I know that since I can't comprehend what the tutorial told me."
"This game sucks, it's clearly a ripoff of Mafia, I mean come on, be fucking original, look at Mafia, it's so popular because it's original. Oh and once the creator asks me how exactly is Mafia original, I will correct him by saying that I was referring to the 80s party game. "There was no explanation on what to do. Even when there's an obvious notification in the start that protects me from dying until I finish reading a tutorial."
"This game has no gameplay, because it's fans are obviously only playing the game for the intro scene and I will conclude to it to that."

I've been f5'ing the list for days just so I can give TOFU 1 star.
Be careful Mephs. The biggest problem of us mappers low-rating someone else map is that they would do the same with our maps.
If I give Bounty's maps 1 star, he will come rage-quitting giving 1 star to all my maps. And that would ruin their 5 stars.
