I'm confused... do you have some kind of disease that makes it a challenge for you? I did it on the first go without any real effort. Maybe I'm misunderstanding?
I think Moza was a bit harsh but he's right. Neither the first nor your second "challenge" is kinda hard.
Instead you should try this: touch with your pinky the thumb's proximal phalange.
I didn't really mean to be harsh, but it's just that Doubleclick said it was hard 'for me at least', which made me figure that maybe he has a specific reason for that. Your exercise is pretty easy for me too. Then again, I am pretty elastic; I can stand up straight, bend my knee backwards and then pull my foot up 180 degrees and past that.

Try to teach your fingers to have the pinky and thumb to touch, and the other fingers up to represent three, not the thumb and index finger touching.
Then get used to that representing three, and try not to use the other way too much :).
Yes I am aware that the thumb is not a finger :P.
EDIT: I am also aware this is not much a challenge, but trying to get used to it is :). For me anyway... Still working on it..

try touching your thumb to the first knuckle on your pinky, I find that more comfortable.

@Zanryu1337: I can do it with all my fingers using my right hand, but not all using my left hand. Funny thing is I'm left handed.
@Zanryu1337: Go
