Good 'ol legos...
I know i and my friend once built a skyscraper over a meter high, then made a small city around it and made a short movie about it :) I had the tape used to mark the streets on the floor stuck down there for years...
I still have a lego (not original lego, but a ripoff company) dragon sitting on top of my Sc2 CE box... Well, i had till someone cleaned up my desk and now the box is in some cupboard and the dragon is sitting on my bros laptop. *goes get box and puts dragon on top*
I guess I have to show you my lego masterpeice... :)
Behold the ultimate star wars millenium falcon :)
Over 5000 peices :) it was my 21st bday present from my partner, I had been talking abuot buying it for ages but couldn't justify the price of $1000 AU. I was stoked and spent 3 days straight building it :P
Heh. Absolutely loved em. Was particularly fond of the sets with mechanical parts. Never really did build anything custom though. Usually just stuck to the instruction manual. Guess that explains why i suck with terraining. I remember there was this awesome online site/program you could design lego with on the net.
i play minecraft, does that count? also i used to play with some 3D puzzles with which i was "pretending" to be playing a strategy game ( i made units, buldings etc... in my country... well id rather not talk about teh past)
Did anyone else enjoy the building part more than the playing part? I loved making stuff although I usually sticked to the guide. Still, I preferred the process of creation.
I guess that's connected to the fact that I love creating maps.

Quick question, have you?
Legos were my favorite toy up as a child. I collected them as a teen.
I think it has alot to do with why I find map making interesting.

Same here;p. I would build all sorts of crazy stuff. Ah...the memories..

i was one of those evil children who waited for my brother to build some huge,elaborate lego tower... THEN SMASH IT TO THE GROUND!!!
@EternalWraith - "Ah...the memories..."

This
I did... hell I still do sometimes. We (me and my brother) had like a whole locker full of lego.
Legos were for douche bags.
It was all about the K'nex for me!

I loved Legos and still kinda do. I made Pyro-GXs out of those things (I wonder how many people know what game I'm referring to?)!

I've got tons of 80's/early 90's Lego at home. Do you think they are valuable on ebay?
@FuzzYD: Go
There was an entire program which is freeware or so, cant remember the name though, its officially distributed by Lego
