Seriously, who writes this shit? Why the hell would he get the same buriel treatment King Arthur did rofl
I just talked about this with my brother, and he talked about how if they didn't throw his body into the sea, Muslims could take the body and then probably make a shrine of him to go to and pay their respects. Having the body of a martyr and dead leader could possibly increase the motivation and morale of terrorists to continue what they are doing today, which is by no means a good thing.
Come on, how can you even distinguish who's who , anyone who has wepon holding is shot by US forces, it can be anybody on ground and nobody has idea
Are you saying that if the government wanted to kill a specific person, they wouldn't be able to tell if if it's him or now? And yeah, the body being dumped at sea thing makes perfect sense. I forget the name, but there was this one guy who was tortured to death as a martyr and then cut up into pieces, which were sent all over the place. And guess what. People took those pieces of him and rallied around them, getting angry and whatnot. No body to be found is a good thing for us.
Like I said before, people make up these crazy theories all the time. Oh, we never went to the moon. We faked the entire freaking moon Landing. Oh yeah, that make sense. And 9 11 was really a secret plot from bush. He blew up our own buildings, killed loads of innocent civilians in the process, framed another country, and managed to so it all without anybody finding any evidence. And Obama is really a Muslim in cahoots with Osama, and he's not really dead, and this was all an elaborate plot to get Obama reelected. And hitler's probably not dead, either. I bet the germans froze his body and FAKED his death, so they could reconquor the world from space with their UFOs.
No body to be found is a good thing for us.
No body, no autopsy, no DNA confirmation, no evidence.
There was DNA confirmation as well as several people who identified the body w/o being asked if it was Osama. They were just asked if they knew the guy.
Don't forget, some people still believe the world is flat.
Oh snap! Forgot that one! The government is lying so that we think we live on a spherical ball of dirt, instead of a flat one. They want to push of off the edge!
I laugh at these conspiracy people. To anyone stupid/ignorant/crazy enough to believe this was all fake, Al Qaeda themselves have just confirmed his death. Guess the USA faked that too eh?
Now , guys that like to say "ah these conspiracy people are retards with no proof" ... it's not about that
Sure it is. You and other conspiracy people are retards without proof. In fact, that is an insult to retarded people. It's just that simple. I suppose Obama isn't American either?
If you really think government officials are as knowledgeable, well coordinated, and cooperative, then I suggest you take a position at the federal reserve or the SEC.Yes, I admit that there is tons of collusion, but no one is running anything; people simply cannot and do not coordinate macroscopic events, however much they, or you, may think they do. It is true, I know how the SEC lawyers, when they are not spending 8 hours a day watching 'adult videos' (There was an ABC special on this, actually), operate. They work for about 3-4 years, network, then go back to the business world and get that little insider edge with regards to policy, or know who to talk with to stop an investigation. Yes, this all happens, but the average American seems totally oblivious to this fact, and instead prefers to make up wild fantasies about Dubbyjah (W) giving birth to C'thulu. As for religious idiots, thanks, I suppose, seeing as I am one of them!
Off-topic forums are so sad... You start reading them and your fellow mappers turn out to be conspiracy nuts, basement trolls or vitriolic opponents of the British monarchy. And then you can never talk to them again because they're "weird" :(
Btw, uploading a 25mb bmp image, now that's commitment! :D
I'm not following the whole thing Stewox, but I just wanted to reply to two things.
A) Do you know the true meaning of 'scepticism'? It comes from the Greek word of 'skeptomai', which means 'to inspect closely'. Modern day 'scepticism' is treated as 'it's probably not true'. We shouldn't be calling people who think that way about things like Bin Laden's dead 'scepticists', as that's too positive a term. Scepticists are people who reserve judgement, not people who claim a theory is wrong.
B) Earlier on you mentioned how 'we' only wanted to 'believe the easy theory'. Are you kidding me? The easy theory is the conspiracy theory. It explains everything and has an answer to every question you have. The 'real' theory leaves a lot of holes and unanswered questions along with unlikely arguments. Think what you want, but don't go around saying people 'believe what is easiest' if you adhere to a conspiracy theory yourself.
The "easy" way out is 'oh, its all a lie. And the reason there's no evidence whatsoever to support my radical claim is because it's all been covered up!! That explains everything! "
No. For the simple reason that you consider a random link "evidence". I could link you wikipedia and reply "see, the conspiracy theory is false" in the same sense. No, I don't believe that it's all as flat as it's demonstrated (us vs themrrorists), but I'll declare people who are claiming that the whole thing was a set-up just to keep control of America in some way to be nutjobs. You don't need to look far for 'proof' that what the media are doing is utter bullshit (there are newspapers in every country where you can pick random articles and simply point out which of these points apply to it), but believing that the whole government and 9/11 are all one huge setup is rather pointless - it's something that can't really be 'fought' as a common man, but the chances of it being true are ridiculously small, which is something any objectively thinking citizen will realize.
This is a quite ironical commercial, which was sadly banned in US.
Mozared , i don't believe all conspiracies my self either, i told at the beginning , that only what i reasearch and what i think i can be able to explain, im not really a PRO. There's a lot more stuff out there.
Fair enough, maybe I overjudged you. I'd promote actual thinking, I just don't like mindless adhering to theories that are most likely wrong.

South Park is pretty much always right, which is something also easy when you're ridiculing basically everything that can be ridiculed =P
I hope I reach that episode soon tbh, though I'm not too hopeful, only being at season 2 :(
Do you guys actually believe this is real though?
"Osama was buried at sea"

Just some food for thought
Yes, I do. The political risk of being caught lying is too great. Plus, secrets are getting harder and harder to keep these days.

No, really.

Awww, now come on Moz, we all have our bad moments even you! Admit it! <3
It's pretty obvious, man.
Osama was Megatron in disguise.
Only that this time, they chose a better seafloor location: the Krusty Krab.

More conspiracy...you do realize Al Qaeda themselves admitted he was killed too...right? Or, do you believe we control them?
YES! We control Al Qaeda. How else would bush have gotten them to attack us on 9-11. Duh. ;)
