About a year ago I made a list of things I wanted to do, try, eat and experience. At the time the list was reletively empty, and thus being not very interresting. Now about a year later I've updated it a bit. I'm not forcing myself through the goals, but just doing them as they come natural. One could quickly burn through most of these but I think that ruins the point.
Tell me what you guys think of havng a list like this, and if theres anything I should add to it, or what you think of my progress haha!
not sure what you mean by just saying waterfall? does that mean you want to jump off a waterfall or just see one...if its just see one it pretty much could be covered under the niagra fall one or whatever...and tornado does that mean you want to see one in real life or be inside one or something nuts?
snorkling i think is pretty much just like scuba diving :S but may aswell try it i guess doesn't hurt.
WOO go great barrier reef and AUS!!!
you have fly first class twice :P
this is being nit picky but theres a green border around a object that is marked incomplete(visit ground zero)
i like the idea but i would have conflicting emotions whenever i see mine...like very motivated to do it but at same time demotivated that i havent done it yet or wont be able to do ever ever ever, kind of a FML moment :(
Thanks Zeropoints, I will update the texts to be clearer on what the actual goal is. I had this list for a long time on paper, and then on a document, and then on the website. I guess some of the details got lost in transaction. And thanks for noticing the border around Ground Zero; I'll have to update that!
I understand your motivation issue, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I made the list, and I figured if I have some goals, I can always pickup one when I run out of things to do. But I don't get demotivated by not having done them, I got about a lifes time left to do them. Hmm, if I die, someone edit this to, damn demotivating :D
It's funny to see this kind of list from other people's life... Interesting to see that you did off-road driving but not solving a puzzle, for example. I should probably start my own list and share it with my friends, that would probably be fun on Facebook or any social network of that kind (and more interesting than those crappy "OMG, my baby has a nose-bleed! I'm gonna faint!" you can read all the time). I'm seriously considering doing this about me, as I wanted to start a diary the day I'll move to Canada. It's kind of complementary (not sure about the translation here).
If I could just give one advice though, it will be to regroup your ideas by theme (sports, eating, places to visit, events, whole life achievements, etc...). As time goes your list will keep growing, so it's better for you (and your readers) if it is organized as soon as possible.
The original list had three images at start, sport, food and travel and each had about fifty goals. That was the original website, I guess I should consider putting the goals into groups, or maybe introducing some sort of sort function. Thanks for the advice.
True, some thing may be considered very normal and everyday to some, but solving a puzzle might not be to others. Obviously I could just go and do it, I mean, I learned to solve a rubix cube and now got it down to 1min solve! But I want everything to come naturally.
Visit Ground Zero has a green border but is marked incompleted. Just figured you should know.
All in all, I think it's a pretty good and interesting thing? It kind of gives your life purpose on paper? Heck, maybe I ought to do something similar. Differences would perhaps be that I'd actively seek out those things when given the opportunity instead of 'waiting for it to come naturally'.
Thanks, Zeropoint already pointed out the problem with Ground Zeros text. It'll be fixed on next upload. But I appreciate it.
I am actively seeking out the things, whenever I need something to do, or I have the oppertunity to do. What I mean by naturally is - money buys everything, so I could just pump cash into it and do them one by one, but that would go against my idea. But I do actively try to get more and more done. Just think about your kids Mozared, how many times haven't we said "No way mom, you never jumped parachute, your like 60 years old ..." Well, it gives some idea of things to do and things to have done.
These things tend to be pointless at the beginning, with nothing completed, but more interresting as time progresses.

Some interesting stuff you got on there

Updated & Corrected some bugs. Also here's the list of things incoming on the list!
These will be added when I get around to crearting the images for them! Some of them are already completed also.
My fav: have children... try one for a start ;)

I'm more curious about the secret ones.
Out of the 142 non-secret ones, I've completed 62 (43.7%) =P
