So I haven't played starcraft for a while, at least the arcade games due to stuff. Now I was wondering, what are the coolest arcade games out there nowadays. What are your most favorite arcade games?
Mine are still Desert Strike i think, Hive Keeper shows loads of potential, and monobattles can be quite funny.

So, these are the maps that I have fond memories of (other way of saying that I probably clocked over 100 hours on them):
Barcraft - a pretty chill game, no stress, pure joy. It's a 8 player card-game, not a sc2-like tug of war card game, but real world-like sc2-themed card game, copy/iteration of bang I heard.
Heaven Besieged - A PvP siege map which charmed me with both its mythology and gameplay. Heaven vs endless hordes of Hell, focus on utilizing your hero units and elite squads to their full potential. Hero units usually have 0-2 abilities and no levels, so think of them as of tools in your disposal rather than regular RPG heroes. Veterans will usually stamp over beginners cause they know that battlefield awareness is the key to victory + they know how to squeeze every single bit of potential out of their forces (traps, ambushes, assaults, conserving units and efficient defense techniques).
Blasterbots - A bomberman remake by me. Sadly even back when it was regularly played very few people could pose me a challenge, but with those who did we had glorious times. At times I wonder if there is anything more that should be done for that map..
War Pigs - MapNight exclusive by Bratzo. A map with identity that has makers heart and soul poured into it. You chose a class (Marine/Ghost/Reaper), pick 4 perks out of perk-tree and engage in a hitscan aiming madness with bullets, grenades, mines, tracking drones, covers, maneuvering, stealth-ing, supporting and .. there are just too many things to list. Pretty much tactics unlimited, even though most time people just run&gun. For some reason I'm not terrible at it, at least when not playing sniper =D
Mines & Magic - I don't find anything enjoyable in TDs, but this is special.
It's cool to suggest ideas =)
if anything it'll get me thinking about stuff, which is nice. Though reality is that the map served the purpose it was created for, cheerful memories of good times prove that what was there was done right, and lack of enthusiasm prevents me from working more on it. Though I do need to get a hold of myself someday and patch out some evil results of bad coding =|
I enjoy playing Sheep Tag Revival, Galaxy Vampirism, most of the TDs (esp. firemaul wars), and soon most of my time will be taken up playing Hunting Season: Heroes.
im amazed that i see no one in here says lottery defense :P im really addicted to it only the bad is a game takes fast 1.5 hours of ur time to at least complete map :)
My all time favorite map is Smashcraft, even though I never saw a time where it was popular, and only ever got a few 3v3 matches. However, when I played it, it was extremely enjoyable and felt quite well crafted.

I'm a sucker for Starcraft 1 remakes; DBZ All Sagas is a soft spot for me. Beyond that I haven't been on Arcade much, mostly developing my own things.
Undead Assault 3 is my all time favorite. Every game is so different.

Nothing wrong with being bias in my book

To avoid further off-topic, I've replied to you in maps thread.

I would compare lottery defense to bingo. Its quite sad that its so popular...

Are you referring to -The Thing- [Revival]?
I vote for The Thing too!

Yup I very much enjoy that map. It's incredibly simple game play and rarely last more than 15 minutes a game.

Yay :D I'm more flattered to hear that from a SC2mapster member.

Is it your game Vicboy?

It depends. Will you count it if it was my game?

Hmm, this is a tough one. I did my best not to be biased so I'm going to have to go with these.
Photon Discs
Doodad Hunt
Haunted Forest
Gnolls VS Trolls
Ling Ling Rocket
Photon Synergy
