I just would like to apologize to those who thought I was rather arrogant and brash, I have let a few people use this account because I believe in sharing, Sharing is caring <3 However those that I allowed to use my account didnt have such a pleasent atmosphere. :( They brought distaste to my digital being. Just would like to apologize for that. From now on the account will only be used by I, Misu, and Taz from now on, I announce this because I have gotten a few PM asking whats up. Some people thought I was overly nice before and then a real cretin in other postings. I am sorry.
You have asked a question thats really difficult to explain. I will do my best though, (From what I know about it) I'll try to make the best of it though. We have a friend that is extremely knowledgeable in electronics. He used to work for a company that distributed T3 Internet service out through the country. T3 is basically a SUPER fast internet connection. Our friend, The electronics engineer is sharing internet with us using devices that he made to share the connection using an infrared signal. So we share internet with him and get roughly 40 Mbs internet connection. We live in an area where we dont have height restrictions on buildings and towers in a residential area so just out side my house I have a tower that goes up about 30 feet ( I think it used to be like an old windmill ) That has a small satellite dish on it.
But for simple sake. We use a virtual desktop to use the internet and the virtual PC wont allow us to create another account on this website. Taz can give a better explanation of what exactly is going on. I only know the basics and what I have been told.
._. Virtualization of a PC should in no way shape or form prevent you from registering an additional account. All registration is handled via unique email address/account name on Curse's server.
Uh. I'm not quite sure where to begin with where this story goes wrong, but it went wrong. Don't worry about it though kiddo, if you intend well and all that just carry on and life goes on.
the only way i think that should affect you is that you can only have one account signed onto this website at a time... From what I understand, your friend is using infrared signals to send more information at a cost of higher energy. Higher frequency = higher energy? Then he's allowing you all to use that same "emitter". Therefore you're all using the same "ip"? Idk if ip is even the right word anymore..

The virtual pc isnt our PC, So... Some things are limited , Mostly just web surfing, We cant create accounts anywhere anymore. We will soon be getting our own internet though. We have been like this for a few years. So we will have to wave good bye to the blazing internet speed and pick up some measly Comcast 7mb connection. :(
I don't mean to be rude but 40mb isn't really blazing, an average UPC Fibre connection is 60 mbs aswell as reliable.
aside from that you can get up to 120 mb with them, and soon 260 with virgin media.
Hm, I thought it was pretty fast, It took one of our friends that downloaded Starcraft 2 like 8 or 9 hours to download it, It only took us like 2 and 1/2 hours. Maybe I am like living in the caveman age. /shrug. Its faster than the internet at my work place.
The only time we get disconnected from the internet is when its SUPER SUPER windy outside. Which is like once every 3-4 months.
Good luck getting that anywhere expect in heavily dense areas though. Particularly in a country the size of the U.S
Typically only areas with heavy fiber optic infrastructure can get net that fast. The fastest I can get in my area is 30/mb. And that isn't even available where I live.

Hope you all understand.
uh wouldn't it make just simple sense for other people to make their own accounts..??? I mean, why are you sharing your account..
