Trolls, Religious nutters, Scientist nutters, don't start shit in this thread.
Very simple explanation with a very logical conclusion. Just thought I would share given the recent events of past. I have my own thoughts about everything, which are not what you would expect, but I can agree logically with this hypothesis.
If you have some time watch this video. It was filmed some time in the 70s. So the information in the video has been available for about 40 years or longer. New stuff has come to light like the ancient nuclear reactor in Africa believed by the researcher to be made by a advance beings that settled on this planet in the past. You can either believe that it was naturally made or advance begins made it because that is the most efficient way to build a nuclear reactor when you come from a Galaxy far far away.
Ok, I watched your video Dogmai. My criticism is that, although simple, I'm not buying that "time doesn't exist in the black hole" and that "there's an effect without a cause" and that "it's ok for matter to suddenly appear inside the big bang because it was small and matter appears into really small things" just because it's a simple explanation. It sounds to me somebody just made that up, did some calculations and saw that it doesn't really break any law, so it must be it because it's the simplest explanation. I still have no question answered. I still don't know about anything.
If that video was trying to show that God doesn't exist, it might have gone the other way around by showing that Science is also making things up. In the end, both the scientific side and the religious side sounds unappealing. I gotta create my own explanation. Perhaps I'll make one where I create the universe.

"Human beings have 5 fingers because they are created for the 5th dimension." LOOOL. I'm loving this second video. So entertaining. Sadly, it's 5 hours long, and I feel I'm wasting my time if I watch it for more than half hour. My exams are less than 1 week ahead and I'm here, procrastinating.
edit: I like the conclusions of the people in this video. "He went to South Pole and died. Therefore, the only logical explanation is that aliens defeated him."

Yeah Discovery channel's document films are getting more and more crappier. Its funny how that every time Hawking is mentioned, somehow a theory about black holes will come up:)
After all, they cant explain things in detail for the general audience like inflationary universe theory, when most people dont even know what is a quark.
Btw theories like that will most likely never be proved directly, because it needs insane amount of energies to recreate... (like theories on Black Holes)

LOL, grats for that someone for making up that many shit:D
None of the researches believe that the fission reaction in Oklo was caused by advanced beings.... It happened 1.7 billions years ago and since it was nuclear fission its pretty easy to determine when it happened. Btw 1.7 billion year ago the earth didnt even had multicellular life.
Also, it was theorized that it can happen by natural means, before it was discovered.
And I dont see why would an advance civilization dig km-s deep into the land and than ignite the fission reaction there, it sounds really inefficient:)
I'm not buying that "time doesn't exist in the black hole"
Do you believe in GPS satellites? The same laws that allow them to function also tell us that time stops at the event horizon of a black hole, at least for the outside observer.
There are lots of effects without causes due to quantum mechanics. The casimir effect, virtual particles, quantum tunneling, and even radiation. We've detected this all in the lab. It's not made up.
Newtonian physics don't apply to the quantum world. Electrons spin around the nucleus indefinitely, like a perpetual motion machine. Particles are randomly created & destroyed. Indeterminism reigns supreme. These things are all logically & mathematically consistent, yet are not intuitive to us because we don't live life on the atomic level. If you want to understand the workings of the universe, you have to start thinking differently. If you don't, then be happy with not knowing like the rest of us. :P

Again, we've detected this phenomenon in the lab, and since the universe was smaller than an atom at one point, it applies to the universe as well. I am credulous at the explanation & conclusions offered in the video, but the science is not randomly made up.

It's not that it's the simplest explanation, it's that it is the explanation with the fewest assumptions. People are just going off of how they know the universe already works. Doesn't make it correct, but still the best explanation if you "demand" an answer right now.

Uranium is soluble in water only in the presence of oxygen. This says water and oxygen is one of the most important factors for the nuclear reactor to work. A interesting point also is the Fission of uranium normally produces five known isotopes and of the fission-product gas xenon and all five have been found trapped in the remnants of the natural reactor. Normally this gas gets released in to the sky.
soo 2 pieces of matter (a nuetron and a proton)going at the speed of light in the void where no other particles exist, nor does space or time...
So in an area of Infinite size. 2 particles randomly appeared going at speeds that wouldnt be possible.
In out labs we take 2 particles and smash them together, and attempt to create a mini universe, Yet while they may be able to create something sooo tiny, they havent thought of one thing... How do particles move, I have tried looking it up, and according to them particles just move....
of course these are the same retards who say we are related to bananas....
can we not try to turn this into another stupid religious thread.... Yeah i agree with you eternal, but still, I am tired of hearing the same old ass arguments from both sides...
Fact: No one has ever been persuaded over the internet to believe in something that someone else believes.

First, just because the effects of a possible cause were detected in the lab doesn't make the cause an absolute truth. There's a lot of evidence for silly things. For example, you know that the amount of storks in a region is positively correlated with the number of babies being born in that same region? I knew that sex was a lie and storks bring babies.
Is scientific explanations compelling? Usually yes. Can we be 100% sure? Never. Now you ask me to start thinking differently. To think that science must be right in this black-hole theory is far from "thinking differently." Most people think or religion or science is right. I'm thinking differently and saying that they are both wrong.
And just because we have detected matter that suddenly appears out of nowhere, IT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S COMING FROM NOWHERE! I mean, why isn't anybody here considering the possibility of multiple dimensions and they are just moving through those dimensions? And if they are indeed coming from a different dimension, that argument can't apply to the big bang.
come on now, I picked my words to not bring religion in it at all, lets keep it that way. :P. if this was a purely religious thread without science I wouldnt bring issac Newton into it.

Because there's more to quantum mechanics than just virtual particles. Extra dimensions don't explain quantum tunneling, or entanglement. The quantum wave function is probabilistic, not deterministic. Despite the fact that the wave function can only give you a probability as an answer, it remains one of the most accurate theories in all of science. Feynman compared the accuracy of QM's predictions to measuring North America down to the size of a hair.
Space-time has a certain amount of fuzziness to it so that it can't stay "stable" for long, which makes it non-deterministic, and that's just the way it works. No other cause required. Could there be some other cause for virtual particles anyway? Sure. But most scientists consider QM to be a complete theory, and there is nothing (including extra dimensions) that would add to its predictive power.
All I'm saying is that Hawking could be right. The universe could in fact be something that inevitably pops into existence. Don't ask me how QM works without a space-time to act on, because I'm not a physicist and haven't worked these things out. Indeed, I felt that the video could have done a better job explaining this. Especially when the narrator said "So what caused the universe? The answer is......nothing........absolutely nothing." It's like, er, ok. :3

You could say "I don't know" and I'd agree with you, but simply saying that "both are wrong" is no better than just going with a wild guess. If you have a superior theory, you should submit it to a journal.
