This week end, my wonderful wife and i are going to do "our" (her overdue) week honeymoon in

Do you think 10 years is too long? Am i the worst hubby or what?

More seriously, :D i wanted to ask anyone knowledgeable about venice in realtime .. :)

Is it full of police and are art galleries still as expensive as ever and opened 2 hours a day on a thursday?

What not to miss what to do, not do?

i love paintings and i went to visit museums in venice 25 years ago .. plus i lived in rome for 8 months (10 years later) so i'm not a total noob but i know that i could use a hand beforehand. :D

a boca lupo ?

The city itself is pretty small and you can walk from end to end in like 20 minutes. Obviously the Doj's palace and and the castle Napoleon had are really awesome, but the coolest thing to do is just go down the side streets and get lost in all the cool old architecture and windy, mysterious cobblestone walkways. It's an island so you won't get lost. Also throw a hand full of bird seed into the air and see what happens :)

That's so sweet. It's going to be some years before my girlfriend and I get married, so I don't know much about this stuff, but I think Venice is a great place for a honeymoon. The gondola rides in the rivers are beautiful and romantic, in my opinion. There's a lot of culture to explore there.

No I don't think you're the worst husband. Life can sometimes be a hassle and take away from what you want to do most, but it's good that you're still doing this honeymoon. It's better done late than never ;)

Type it yourself in a browser search engine, "honeymoon 10 years wait" (or another combination) to find lots of people buying their "hypermegaultra expensive" vacation honeymoon that will cost them an arm or 10 years savings .. for a week in the seychelles or similar...

my wife does play games but she rather hates sc for its depiction of violence.. she eat you at tetris for instance or mariokart :D
