If there are UFO-s that will rock nothing in science.
I was saying UFO-s, I wasnt saying that we make contact with aliens from other planets or we will have an extraterrestrial organism that we can study.
I was thinking about, that the possibility of other civilization in the universe is highly likely based on our current scientific knowledge.
The first attempt by them to make contact with us will rock everything in the core....
At least our current scientific knowledge says, that matter and energy cant travel faster than light, but information can. So hopefully any contact will be like the one in my favorite film Contact (1997).
UFOs exist as a matter of fact because flying objects that are unidentified are UFOs by definition. I was actually being charitable in attempting to distill the meaning of "If there are UFO-s that will rock nothing in science" because the statement makes no sense on multiple levels...
Anyway, the press conference deals with a lot more than aircraft. It goes into very brazen specifics. Yes there are a fair share of "lone wolf" radio controllers but there's some top brass as well, putting their storied reputations on the line. For what? Undue media attention? I just don't see that being an all-encompassing factor here.
I never said I wasn't bending the rules. I'm just bringing attention to stuff that, if true, rocks everything you knew about "the big picture," which is surely at the heart of the spirit of scientific exploration. In all fairness though, the UFO Disclosure Project does mention Kevlar and some other marvels in modern engineering (to say nothing of biology).
And our discussion started by a video where people claimed that UFO-s (or at least most of it) are alien spacecrafts. So when I said UFO, I was thinking about that kind of UFO.
Brazen specifics, which make these kind of stories more unbelievable.... most of those specifics what said in that video can be easily verified by other witnesses or by documents, but I didnt see anything like that.
People do lots of crazy things for attentions, like running naked in the stadium in a sport match.
But those are attention seekers are nothing compared to the "supernatural attention seekers" like the ones for example claim that they speak with ghost. Some of these people really believe what they say even after facing them to the truth.... (Its like a drug addiction, you know its bad for you, but you cant let the feeling go....)
Be that as it may, you don't get to tell TheZizz off for his post, nor do you get to discuss the contents at this length. FDfederation made it pretty clear that he wants this thread to be purely for linking kinds of scientific researches and not for discussing them. In that same light, he shouldn't be telling TheZizz off for his video either. Either FD has to admit he kind of missed a hit in saying he doesn't want this thread to be about discussion or you (both) need to stop telling people off for posting relevant videos, however bad your opinion of them is.
If it's a circlejerk you want you should've done this in a PM thread, not an open board. I'll lock this thread if need be.
@Mozared: Go
So I can post bunch of irrelevant videos? And I dont think that FDfederation dont want discussions on the things linked here. It would be pretty stupid to link interesting stuffs and not discuss it. If I want to see interesting links on scientific articles, than I would rather check other forums or newsletters (as I do).
Its not circlejerk and its pretty sad thats sc2mapster is far from open board....
PS: I am the last one here, who wants to hijack this thread.

Yeah, that would indeed be pretty stupid. However,
If you want to debate, go make another thread. This thread is for posting informative links to topics related to science.
That's why this whole situation is funny. FD is trying to do some kind of weird bypassing-the-rules thing to troll religious people by setting up rules like that for his thread. TheZizz is rocking the boat by placing video's about fringe subjects to get people like you to call him out on it and basically forego your own rules. That's why I'm not gonna bug TheZizz for posting videos on fringe science and why I am gonna tell you or FD off for calling him out on it. You made your bed, now lie in it.

You tell me what it is. In this thread I'm only trying to get people to follow the rules of the OP (admittedly; partly to show how ridiculous they are), in any other thread all I ever crack down on is insults. You're the one trying to tell someone else his video doesn't belong here.
PS: I am the last one here, who wants to hijack this thread.
So am I, so if any of you want to discuss this further, toss me a PM. In the meantime I'll start deleting any new posts that don't contain informative links for topics related to science. Happy linking.
@b0ne123: Go I do not believe that we humans evolved from primates. If we humans truly evolved from primates we would have inherent their primate strength. A primate bone density is denser their natural physical strength is stronger than ours. I would agree with evolution as the cause for humans to come from apes but the primate have attributes that we dont and naturally we should have these attribute inside us because of the evolution process.
I cant stand it when some evolutionist talks about birds and how they evolved. Then when everything is said about birds and how they evolved then the evolutionist apply everything they discussed about birds on humans and they end the show. Giving you a birds eye view on human evolution. What you will never hear a evolutionist do is talk about human evolution and bring conclusive evidence that humans evolved from apes because no definite prof exist. Only a theory will be discussed that a missing link once lived that unites apes and man.

My personal theory is that primates are stronger because they have to be, climbing around in tree-tops and all that. When we evolved from primates, we stopped swinging around in trees and descended to the plains.

Except our 99% identical DNA with chimps. Or our vestigial organs. Or the fact that we've found pretty much all the intermediates in the fossil record: homo habilis, homo erectus, homo cepranensis, homo rhodesiensis, neanderthal, etc. You can go to a museum and see their bones. If that's not proof I don't know what is.

There is so many reasons why do we have weaker bones than primates. Lighter bones can be evolutionary favorable, like its more flexible so it brakes less, which may be favorable for us, since we no longer leave on trees...
Also one of the main difference between us and primates is that our jaw is much weaker, the muscles which make primates jaw stronger blocks their skulls in size. New theories show that all of this caused by only few genes.

Descending from the tree tops to the plains would have not lead to our devolution in strength. Transitioning to a weaker smarter species is not evolution from a species who is much more stronger and has great intelligence to begin with.

No, you can
Whatever that entails is pretty damn hazy, but shouldn't be discussed here. So yes, a video on the 'science' of UFO observation works.

Sane people know its nonsense;p.
Not science yea yea.
Herp derp?. Nah that never happened. No proof, no evidence, defies logic and reason too.
Means nothing. Chimps and humans also breathe air. Cool?
Fake and incorrect pseudo-science.
