@Sixen: Go
psht, i bet your saying that to take down our new suspicion of you taking over SCII Mapster.
on the note of: ZOWN CONTROL FTW lulz jkin
i would like to see an update on the editor from you sixen, since youre going to be the all powerful ruler of us soon
Sc2mapster was a way more popular when Starcraft 2 was released. I remember seeing a new map maker every hour. Where is everybody? I visit sc2mapster every day, but I have a feeling I'm visiting a bazaar after a party. :(

HAHA. I feel the same :D . It seems people played enough with the map editor, leaving only the toughest guys that will not stop ever.
Progammer should become an admin tbh. He does most of the work around here. And someone would have to take his place as a mod. Someone that is part wolf. Someone with an epic avatar...
Just in case it could help... I noticed that a lot of people modify existing actors rather than creating new ones, and any modified/deleted event is applied in the parent's list of events by "index". The 1.2 patch modified some actor events, and that breaks things for some people.
Moral of the story: if you are going to make an existing actor a parent of your new actor, do not modify or delete any existing event. You can add new events, at the end of the list, but you can't edit or delete the events that come from the parent. If you need to do so, make the parent a simpler actor with less predefined events. Editing/deleting events from existing actors is even worse, don't do that.
My problem just deals with having units start out with passive abilities... like baneling with centrifugal hooks. I had a trigger pre-patch that worked just fine, now it doesn't. But this isn't the proper forum to be discussing this, soooo. =P
Yeah, what they said above. vjeux registered at Curse before I did, that's why his join date is earlier, since we share a db, :P.

well I'm one of those not so tough guys who barely works at the editor anymore, though I'm always available to assist, when I'm on IRC and not ingame

2008's. Woot Woot. But I've recently lost hope in the editor for now... since my maps all broke recently for whatever reason.
