it seems it is possible to get only s partial thanks, in the attachment below.
Also I thanked a post a few days ago, I came back and had another look at the post and it had received another thanks (so 2 thanks). It gave me the option to give thanks again, I did and it removed the thanks, I could not get it back.

Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
You know, I am glad for a few of the changes listed here and there, but most of those didn't seem to address in the slightly most actual mapster community concerns, so this feels something along the lines of a non-answer. I get that you have to care about more than one community, but I can't help but feel that we definitely are in the backburner and will say there for a while in regards to curseforge priorities, and we won't be seeing changes anytime soon(tm).
The lost attachment issue is one of the bigger losses and I don't see a mention of that in the slightest. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Many usability concerns have also gotten unaddressed either. There hasn't been any change in regards to a bigger spotlight for the news and community events like the Weekly Exercises.
I would definitely like more transparency on the priorities taken by the team. If there is any kanban or roadmaps concerning OUR priority issues, please let us know. The more time you let pass our issues I feel the more the community will falter. I am glad it has slightly thrived on discord, a platform you have no interest of endorsing since it competes with a product of yours, but don't provide anything to really cover it up for us.
Who is in charge of approving assets/projects? I've been waiting for a few days and LucidIguana mentioned that he can't approve them himself, despite the message stating the following:
When trying to upload a file to the as-of-yet unapproved asset page, I get this notification:
I'd be willing to accept this procedure if the approval process didn't take so long.
It's important you guys know that we announce updates and bugs over on the @CurseForge twitter. For anyone curious about the download count - that was a bug that was fixed relatively fast.
As for projects in moderation, they don't go into moderation until you successfully upload a file. We don't even know about them until that happens. This prevents users from uploading blank projects and having tons of file-less projects all over the place. And yes, you will need to zip the file up until we get an update out that will allow SC2map files, which shouldn't be too long as we recently added another file type for another game as well.
@houndofbaskerville - Your post is disjointed and confusing.
I'm not in charge, I'm just the guy who communicates. We have a team of moderators that moderate files. We also have a file processor that we have to make sure can properly scan and process hundreds of thousands of files as they come into our system.
As mentioned time and time again, the SC2Map file issue will be assessed, but since zipping up a project isn't a blocker to getting projects on the site, it's not been a major issue. I would much rather have our guys working on the new features to bring SC2Mapster back up to speed and get this community back into the hands of the people who made it what it is today.
So if you don't mind, please either quit with the silly negative nancy drama or I will happily show you out. You have the option to be a positive member of this community and help me and the rest of the folks here get what they need and want out of this site. That is something you CAN do.
You guys can always PM me or hit me up on Twitch App (MrFlamegoat, I hangout in the CurseForge Server), or ding me on Twitter @mrflamegoat anytime you have issues or questions. I will 100% always do my best to help assist or fix.
Thanks again to everyone for putting up with us! Be sure to check the community post that went up today. The last bit of the post is directed at you guys! Finally got some news about the front page and a variety of other things regarding SC2Mapster. Stay tuned!
What about old attachments? WIll they ever be back?
For the forums - not something I can promise. I don't know what tech that might require or if it's feasible with the current workload. I'll ask and see.
Second nature to you is obviously not second nature to everyone else, or there wouldn't be as many complaints about it. Additionally, it's a restriction that was not there prior to the 'upgrade'.
I have to agree. A website dedicated to SC2 mapping should be able to handle SC2 map files.
The site has been streamlined to show up better in search engines and average more outside clicks per day. From a "guys with clip-boards" perspective, the site is at an all-time high!
Imagine if car dealerships made money based entirely off of how many people walked through the door, opposed to how many cars were purchased.
No I do understand. But same as for everyone else, I just voiced my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. as far as goes that it appears 'added' after the site-upgrade, then I do agree its a step in the wrong direction, and appearently also one that has many mapmakers in a bind.
GLITCHES!

In the coming weeks, you guys will have a lot more SC2Mapster related stuff on this list.
@R0binicus - working as intended. We use Mars based math, it's a little smaller than Earth's.
*sigh* Me and Zeldo had a good laugh at that - I'll see what we can do :D

Someone we have never been introduced to is in charge
pm the "curse" moderators with a polite message asking for your project's approval
.. the mapster moderators have no real power/access
or/and
pm the mapster moderators, they know a guy that might eventually get to it
no one actually checks the files, just post history
ZIP your files to the only acceptable format accepted on this platform
and it will upload
(after 6 months of posting it, there is still no message on the upload prompt that ZIP is the only acceptable format on this upload plateform)
it wont show that it is uploaded though, don't look for it in your page's stats, but you will get a link .. to your page.. to showcase your stuff
People can accept any procedure from anyone or anything
but
they don't have to!

I wasn't aware of the file extension issue. Until it is resolved, a notice would avert 99% of future problems.
In the meanwhile, I've updated my asset page with the accepted file formats.

It has been 6 months already and .SC2Map files are still not supported. It is starting to chase people away from the site.

Maybe its just me, but I don't really get the point with having to zip?
Its about second nature to me. I'd be far more interested if there's going to be ways to create some added organnising abilties in our projects.
I'd like to be able to group images per "project" and maybe downloads aswell. up to now it more or less feels like a dumpster and looks messy.
Also... again, maybe just me... but is the site slow for some reason, slower than other sites or??
