I was wondering if there is an existing asset, or a kind soul who could create this asset, that upon clicking on, gives you to the count of 5 to throw it before it explodes.

Can't you add a delay value to a create persistant effect that would create the damage effect after the model is tossed.
I would Imagine you would have to create a launch missile effect that creates the grenade model when it lands at the target and then attached to the grenade is a delayed damage effect.
