I looked at the open games list and it seems like new lobbies are added on top and old games move down. So it's harder to find players if the game is open one or two minutes or longer. Often played games are always on top as in the old system.
Epic fail Blizzard...
It would be much better if it is ordered the other way round or if the list is rotating.
That is exactly what I said. I realized the same problem already. Soon many people will realize that. It should at least be ordered the opposite way (longer you wait in lobby, more your chances of getting a player).
Right now, if you don't get full house in 6 minutes, you can give up and host again because nobody else will come. You host again and people come.
Considering how drastic an improvement 1.5 is, I'm surprised they missed this critical detail. Imo if they fixed this (oldest lobbies on top of Open Games list), Bnet would be gold.

Perhaps it is possible to reset the position like it was in wc3: Close all slots -> game no longer on the list. Open a slot again -> game is at the top again.

Pretty much this. I could see the argument for "refreshing" a map's position when additional players join, but simply doing it oldest-first would be the real epic fail scenario.
Yes this was a real problem in old BW days from what I recall, would see a lot of games near the top, only to have none work/afk host or whatever. Not the hardest to scroll down, but I think the devs in this case chose wisely on which option to use. What would help is to have a reliable way to have it get refreshed, newest on top is the best approach if you ask me.

ERRRRR, and they had to do something to screw it up lol

I did not notice this, but so true!

Or you would only see maps with afk-hosts there.
I posted it on the Devs reply forums that they opened

Haven't tested it tho...
Yeah that's true.
That would be awesome if that worked.

Actually the best would be for it to jumble the maps, and just set random ones... instaed of sorting them at all.

if you close the slots, then it auto starts the map... lol

NOPE, LOL I still say a randomized list would be best, that way, No matter how long you have been in, your map is still on someones top of the list :D
Just have a button to change host which the host self can cancel, if he doesn't he's afk. (?)
+1. Seems better than ordering the lobby in a crappy way.
