Hi guys I am trying to create a custom map where the player uses heroes and doesnt build but goes up against multiple computer opponents who build. I am having trouble getting the computer opponents to do more than mine minerals. I had to remove default melee settings because the game ends if I do that because the players dont construct anything.

I tried adding a couple of computers with command centers, Gave my player controlled unit a probe. Everything has a start location. Just cant figure out how to get the ai to do its thing and not just mine resources.
Alright I got them to build but the ai seems to get confused when it controls more than one race. Plus it seems the terran ai is much better than the other 2 ai's.
Any ideas on how to get the ai to utilize the other 2 races if they have control of all 3? I even killed off their primary race that they were using and left the other 2 and waited a few minutes and they didnt construct anything for the other 2 left over races.
They can't be the same player/color using multiple races. Melee AI makes them choose from random scripts designed for each race, and they will only pick one, probably whichever spot the start location is on, and the others will just be used to harvest.
If you're using different colors, then you just have to make sure the start locations are appropriately placed, and check the player settings. If they are a Terran Computer with Zerg units, they will just harvest forever, because they cant execute any Terran scripts.
Also make sure you aren't playing in test mode. Computers tend to do nothing in test mode - you need to publish it.
If all of that is in order and it still doesn't work, then I'm not sure. It could also be a dependency issue. If you want you could send me your map and I'll just make sure the AI is building then send it back.
