On lotv presentation artists was talking about adding models from blizzard dota (early sc2 map). And they finaly told about adding necessary animations to units (like spell animatoon for each unit, pretty much as wc3 had). It was on Q&A campaign panel
Just a thought for server side banking. With Diablo 2, I recall that your characters were saved locally, but that local save was compared to a server side save file. This is what allowed for duplicating items (You could use glitches, such as stacking an items aura 50000 times to make a huge lag delay, and within that delay, your local file and the blizzard file would separate, and anything done locally wouldnt save to bnet for you) but anyway... With server side banks; could they just use it as a comparison bank file, to ensure the local one hasnt been tampered with? I am sure with string compression and all that, they can reduce bank file size greatly, which should lower the risk of corruption and lower the stress on their servers.

That is the main reason I want server side banks (Map specific banks so that maps can have server-wide high scores, stats and rankings).
They could also be used to make other fun things e.g. a map environment which can be dynamically influenced by the entire player base.
Player-specific banks would also be cool though.
