Tosh appearing in HotS would piss me off. Bliz said the side-arms of the WoL-campaign would have no future implications, therefore Tosh could be dead for the player. Same for Hanson (nobody would like to see her back though, i presume).
While we are talking about Characters: Can anybody explain to me why you like Nova? I find her totally boring and a bad Kerrigan clone in blonde.
Now that you say it that is a possibility. Nova understanding the importance of Kerrigan surviving and going rogue. But I'd prefer if she stayed Dominion. We have enough side switching as it is.
There are many reasons to be afraid of what Blizzard might turn the story into, looking at WoL and the leaked ending. I will try to be open-minded and hope for the best. Please no infested Tychus though. That would be the crown on the pile of shit that was his storyline.
Because she's one of the Ghosts that have high psionic level. Truth be told, because her game's been cancelled.
Anyway, do you guys think Raynor and Nova are both allies here in this vid trying to rescue kerrigan?
Seems like the Spectres are quickly trying to infiltrate the base and find Kerrigan (Obvious)
The Spectres run through the door though, and seal it so that Raynor can't get inside
(So this means that the Spectres, and probably Nova as well, are not allied with Raynor and this is obviously a chaotic race to reach Kerrigan)
I'm pretty sure Tosh is dead, and stays dead, so the Spectres have no leader and therefore maybe Nova steps up to lead them.
(Ghosts pretty kin-related to Spectres)
Seems that Nova is planning something involving Kerrigan, or simply wants to eliminate her because maybe.... she never lost her powers?
Raynor is intent to stop Nova, and just sorta bursts through the chaos.
Obviously Kerrigan still has her psychic powers, due to the cans floating around.
Maybe she uses her powers to regain her zerg allies although its kinda unlikely (Tychus Overmind anyone? :D)

Tosh isn't dead. On the Lore Q&A last blizzcon someone asked the question of which path the storyline would take in the game, and they said Raynor sides with Tosh and Hanson, which means Tosh is still on the hyperion and part of Raynor's crew.

If you choose to help Nova, she kills Tosh, and as for Nova leading the spectres, wasnt she the one who was imprisonning them in the first place?

Good. I originally did It with Tosh, then redid it. I watched the cinematic of Tosh dieing 5 times. It made me so sad :( I love how bad the blood looked.

Link please if possible. This is ridicolous. I can remember in detail an interview with Browder about how the both sidearms where you could choose the end would not be touched in future installations. That makes these parts of the campaign even more stupid.
Anyway, I don't think infested Tychus would be a surprise, it's a pretty logic step, and I want to see more of him anyway :).
In Blizzard logic perhaps. But would'nt he has to be just another mindless infested marine as he has no special psychic capabilities?
I do admit that it is somewhat likely that Tychus will have an appearance, considering him built up as such a huge character with novels to give more background, plus his voiceactor gave hints in that direction.
Yeah, I an confirm it too, it's said inside the CE behind the scenes DVD. Side with Hansons and side with Tosh. However, I don't remember if they said anything about siding with Tychus or Warfield at Char.

I think the way to go is make him some sort of big bad aberration.

Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.

Wait for the 31 for all the info :P.

The NDA hasn't lifted yet, those people posted it early and got in trouble. You'll all find out what's going on, soon enough.

@xSun: Go
Dont have the link, just go to youtube and search for "Blizzcon 2010 Starcraft 2 Lore Q&A", it's in there somewhere.
I can confirm what TheAlmaity is saying, in lore, Raynor sided with Tosh.

Siding with Tychus or Warfield is not a big deal I think, definitely not story wise.
Since when did gametrailers have a copyright claim to Heart of the Swarm...
video link is down :(
Here you go.
