Sotis has 63,000 lines of code!? Srsly wtf mate ... The original Tofu map had 28,000, the current version of Tofu has 10,000 lines, and I would say 10-20% of that is developer only stuff that will be removed in the released version, and I can tell you Tofu is a shitload more advanced than Sotis ... -_- ... functions are your friend.
23,000 is more acceptable, I never took a look at their coding, but 63,000 is a bit of an overkill. The original Tofu map is the one submitted for the Blizzard Custom Map Competition last year.
Kinda sad at the moment because I've come to the realization that the reason the SotIS creator hasn't come out with much updates is because the editor can't handle the amount of data. The data seriously is way to big for the editor and crashes it every other minuet when you trying to change something simple like an actor. It really needs to be condensed before to can be looked at for learning purposes.
Was using this method to unlock a map, problem is map has multiple dependencies upon opening it with the editor, which require the user to log on Battlenet in order to download the mod dependencies. I am doing this simply to learn how a map's script is loaded. Now is Blizzard going to ban my account if they knew I've unlocked a map, but not using it to publish, and claiming it as my own?
I unlocked a map, and Gotta say without any triggers, and the data is useless since it converts the triggers into Modified data, this way has no learning value.

Being more advanced doesn't make it better. I, for one, enjoy simple maps.
FYI Sc2 Melee only has one trigger, and almost everyone enjoys it
I meant 23,000 I guess I put a 6 instead of a 2 sorry. What exactly was the original Tofu map though?
@LitePollution9: Go
Tofu = the map he made that nobody really knows much about other than the fact that it's named tofu and has heroes.

@ Wolf, that sounds about right.

I don't have problems fiddling around with a more recent version... I suspect a computer issue here.

Blizzard won't ban you for unlocking a map and looking at it.

How often is this thread going to be necro'd guys, seriously?
Trick question: NOT ANYMORE!
