I watched Mapcraft last evening (GMT+2) around 30 minutes and I didn't understand point of Mapcraft really =/ You just talked about Starcraft. Isn't it better idea to show people in stream what you are talking about? For example if you talk about specific map please show that map you are talking about. I watched other archived videos and I liked terrain and trigger tutorials.
Iirc, you joined in close to the end. Don't expect to completely understand everything we're talking about if you don't listen to the whole cast, tbh. We spent a full hour discussing Starcraft Universe and very specific questions directed to its authors before you joined. We've been talking about showing off the map in question, but that's extremely hard on the PC so for now we've mostly been doing it with trailers and screenshots. For now I'd just recommend that you watch a whole episode before judging, as I don't really think it's possible to alter a podcast so that everyone will completely understand the whole discussion going on regardless of when they join in.
I posted on other (=wrong) thread first. My quoted comment looks too judging at the moment because I edited my other comment in this thread.
I take a look at that show now from archive and tell you do I understand it better now =)
Anyway my point wasn't to judge anyway so sorry if you feel judged. And I don't know what kind of technical restrictions you might have during the show.
OK. It makes more sense now =) Anyway I still feel that Mapcraft is more like listening radio than watching tv program. Also that subject you were talking about didn't feel interesting enough for me personally.
Good news: I like all other streams. (data, trigger, terrain, newbie) In those streams there is actually something to see all the time.
Yup, I'm about to post the announce thread. TacoMan has been on vacation, but now he is back. So from now on, we are back to our normal schedule. Data monday, newbie wednesday, terraining thursday. Once Dogmai is ready we should be able to start triggering tuesday as well.
It used to be, but I swapped that to thursdays a couple of weeks back. I'm just pushing the terraining thursday thing right now without ever mentioning tuesdays to avoid confusion.
That is the plan. Taco Man was on vacation, but he got back last Tuesday I believe. I will double check with him, but for now, assume it's going to happen as normal.
edit-
Yup. He is going live @ 12:45 (GMT-5), which is 55 minutes from this post edit.
You're in NA, so the times are messed up, so I take it you were talking about newbie wednesday - Zelda posted us a message that it might not continue. Looks like it didn't.
Terraining Thursday will be up as usual tonight.

You mean triggering tuesday and terraining thursday, not the other way around :p I'm pretty sure a crapton of people are really confused by now.

I have no idea WTF is going on with the schedule . . .
And I say we should force tacoman to make up for lost time.

I don't think the schedule knows either. It's working itself out. We're getting there =P
For now, reliably expect Data Mondays, Newbie Wednesdays, Terraining Thursdays, Friday's Map Night on EU and Sunday's Mapcrafts.

Didn't terraining used to be on Tuesday?

Works in most cases =P
What do you have in store for us tonight, Mozared? =)

Gonna conjure up a 'tonight on Sc2Streamster' post for you now...
Is there going to be another data monday?
