We are going to be stress testing Tofu Arena this weekend; mainly to ensure that the engine holds up in a 6v6 match.
This is also a great opportunity to give the heroes, items and many other game mechanics a really good workout. We do expect there to possibly be a few minor issues as this is still an early Beta version. Therefore any feedback you can give us is literally worth its weight in gold.
So any problems you experience, bugs you find, or suggestions you have can be addressed as soon as possible ( which helps us get the game ready for public release much more efficiently ) we have prepared an online form that you can fill out by clicking on the image above. This will keep this thread open for discussion, and keep the critical feedback you guys give us in an organized place.
Here is a Link to the official Mapster Thread, its a little old but still pretty accurate, we are working on the web-site atm, which will be the main place to learn all about the game, it is still under construction though. We have been pretty busy the past couple weeks getting the game ready for Beta but the website should be up and running soon.
Count me in, and mention how you guys are planning to do this thing. You're not going to be able to accommodate all the players, so how will the selection work?
If we have more than a dozen players then it will be two hosts on rotation, games last for pretty much exactly 25 minutes so we will probably host every half hour. So that is 22 players at a time excluding Dry and I that we can accomodate, but whether Dry's sat' internet can handle 6v6 or whether he host smaller games (like 3v3/4v4) is yet to be seen.
Otherwise we will do player rotation, if we have a really big crowd we will organise some play groups with times and post it live on the website.
Well Im aussie, I can help and I can stream, so its 12 pm for me?
Also, if you need help with website I can help.
And I can stream, if people will watch
I think, Ill update when I start streaming, you can aadd me on skype, crazytwigman
Yeah I am alright with it being streamed ... I do have a EU account but I do not have a copy of the EU client installed (ie, I can RegEdit my Editor to upload to EU, but I cannot play on EU) ... so whilst EU misses out on this test, you guys will get the open beta :)
