I need to hide the whole game AI, but not removing activation of hotkeys with it. When I use "Show/Hide Game UI", I can't use abilities from the command card when it's hidden. How can I cross this?
I dont know which parts of the ui need to be enabled for the hotkeys to work, but assuming its just the command card you could hide all UI parts except for the command card (there is a seperate action called "hide ui frame" or smth), and then move the command card out of the screen by modifying layout files.

Aha. How exactly do you modify layout files, that is, how do you move the command card out of the screen?

Is there a way to change to a different layout for a player in-game?
Dialogs.
You could just use the hide UI frame trigger action and hide every frame except the command card, thats what i do :)
Move everything off screen and then use dialogs to import the templates, thats what I did :P
Eh, I think I'm just gonna have to take time triggering unit's AI actions since this is for a cinematic, but wanted to do it simpler. Oh well.
If it is a cinematic why would you need player input? That is why it is disabled from Blizzard's end.
