I assumed that it was a list of the current maps that have been conformed submissions to the rock the cabinet contest, and if he is missing a map, then post about it.

Oh. Yeah I totally forgot about that.

What about all those waiting until the last minute to submit? Always room for improvement.

there must be a post on the blizz forum as part of the submission. some of the posts do not fulfill the minimum requirements for a rtc-post.

the maps posted last minute will fail so why care? can someone help me with the genre of some maps? how would you call it?

Why would they fail? o.O Or, to be more precise, why do they have lower chances at winning compared to the other maps?

it's easier with the votes for popular maps. also blizz is more likely to select the popular ones (without knowing anything about blizz)

i only add maps to this list if there exists a coresponding post on the blizzard forum + providing the links would also accelerate this process

This is a very good idea!

Gives a good overview as long as the thread gets updated. Might help some people to decide what they want to do for the contest. Maybe a genre which is not yet part of the list? :)

no, that's not how it works! This list is based on forum posts made in the official NA Arcade Forum (which is a hard criterion to take part in the contest).
Seriously people should read the rules before they try to participate in any contest.
