To get rid of the blue icon in the upper right corner, try to hide the complete resource panel. Worked for me. Seems they screwed something up with the new "hide resource" triggers...

The ingame error messages seem to be related to bugs present in earlier versions already, its just that they were not noticeable. I managed to fix some of them, the others will be just a matter of time, I guess.
Anyone knows, why hero icons do not work properly? Most of my icons are imported custom icons, however I have a ton of them and all work just fine, except when used as a hero icon.
The lvlup and repick errors do not occur for a published version played online, just my test version crashes when testing it. Strange...
I have no idea what actually causes the error messages on editor loadup. Any insight would be helpful :)

I "fixed" most of my bugs (half of them just vanished for no obvious reason).
Crash was related to my lvlup-graphics trigger. If I disable the graphics shown on lvlup, getting levels and repicking works fine. Still need to find out, why the graphics crash the game, though.
€ The "Attach Actor to Unit"- function seems to crach the game. I used it to create the lvlup graphics.
€€ apparently, "Attach Model to Unit" crashes as well. Someone able to use them?
all but 1 error messages on loading the map vanished; the remaining one was, because a value for a "scale" field defaulted to 0, which is not a valid value for scale apparently. Changing to 1 fixed this error, so no more error messages on loading the map.
All the ingame actor errors were caused by some unit actors, which used UnitBirth AND UnitCreation as actor events to create actors, so 2 actors were created for one unit.
The hero icons miraculously work once again, after I fixed the actor error messages.
hiding the whole resource panel indeed gets rid of the strange blue icon, but there seems to be no way to individually enable the mineral icon once again. Maybe I need to modify the layout files for that? dunno.
Strangely enough, my variants work just fine, even though the map was created in the beta originally.
I have found another weird thing. Before the patch the 'Make Camera Look At And Follow Unit' Trigger worked smoothly, but now the Camera follows the unit and shakes like crazy! What happened there?

How much time do you guys spend testing after a patch (providing the crash when played does not occur...)?

i never test doc... it seems useless... publishing might not work whereas the test doc might ...

xD when adjusting actors or dialogs I test like every 10 seconds. If i would need to publish the map every time... well, lets say I would quit mapping.

test is extremely useful O.o 1 min login+publish; 30 sec SC2 login, 15 sec starting the map after every small change to take a 10 sec look if the trigger works?

I haven't checked my other map and I probably should, but for my newest map I had to re-assign units to a building they were supposed to be created from.
For some reason, the patch went through and changed ALL my units on the command card of the builing to Goliath and put a good 6 or so buttons on top of each other.
Was so annoying to fix.
Some of my AI commands went wonky. Instead of actually moving where they were told, the units went in a B line and stopped when the terrain got in their way O.o
Aside from that, the cursed blue square for hero icon. I got zero error messages so bleh

Well, as stated in the other thread, they are not fixed for me, either, they just seem to appear and disappear randomly.
I'm having the same bug on this new patch.
