I've had similar problems. When I started up my map, it flashed a message saying WARNING: Actor... (I couldn't read anymore of it) and it lagged horrifically.
My Game Variants seem to be broken... Very confusing what happened there. Guess I have to take another lesson in "trial and error"-ing.
Edit: From the Blizzard Patch Notes:
Quote:
In some cases, variants defined in previous versions will no longer be compatible and may cause problems during publishing or within the game lobby. If you are planning to republish a map that uses custom game variants, it is highly recommended that you use the new Game Variants dialog to delete and recreate them.
So if I'm not mistaken I have to recreate all of my attributes from scratch.
Edit2: Has anyone figured out how to hide custom attributes for certain players, now? So far I can only see the option to hide already existing attributes like difficulty or color.
If anyone is having issues with their map crashing sc2 on test, or run, make sure that you remove any sc2 layout files, they changed the system, so now it is in the data editor. It took me a while to notice.
I have found another weird thing. Before the patch the 'Make Camera Look At And Follow Unit' Trigger worked smoothly, but now the Camera follows the unit and shakes like crazy! What happened there?
I'm also having problems with Kheldrun's test map. First, my hero icon has vanished, as shown below, and second:
I get this error message: [3/23/2011 9:37:51 AM] Warning: CActorAction[HydraliskAirAttack] Has event with invalid Send field. Event[Terms "Effect.HydraliskPsiU.Start; At Caster; FromEffectTreeDescendant" Send ""]
It doesn't seem to affect anything related to the Hydralisk, but I'd like to fix it anyway.
They added a lot of new debugging messages in while in "test document", which is assisting me in tracking down some bugs that I previously had no idea of the cause of.
Secondly, the patch actually seems to have fixed some issues for me.
my map works, but i get the hero icon missing and i see a bunch of error messages on load up of the editor, even though i havent seen any bugs in-game of the errors stated on the load up.
To get rid of the blue icon in the upper right corner, try to hide the complete resource panel. Worked for me. Seems they screwed something up with the new "hide resource" triggers...

Anyone else having massive problems with his map since patch 1.3? I certainly do.
The following things occurred after patching:
I've had similar problems. When I started up my map, it flashed a message saying WARNING: Actor... (I couldn't read anymore of it) and it lagged horrifically.
Yes, same here.
I get an error message that says: unit scope Warning: more than one CActorUnit persisting in the same unit scope:
Also I noticed the following:
Gaining a level works fine, also I didnĀ“t see any differences concerning lags. Repicking a hero also works fine.
Oh man...
My Game Variants seem to be broken... Very confusing what happened there. Guess I have to take another lesson in "trial and error"-ing.

CanĀ“t find a fix for
unit scope Warning: more than one CActorUnit persisting in the same unit scope:
either...
UPDATE
When testing the map online, the Warning message doesnĀ“t show up anymore...strange thing...
hm.. didnt checked my whole map yet.
all i have are these "errors" on map load in the editor:
besides that i tested my map out of the editor and had no problems yet. leveling worked, hero icons worked too.
will check some stuff later and post results here.
I didnt get any errors and nothing broke in my map afaik... guess i just go lucky :p

all player units in my map have halfed hp , so it doubles the difficulty :(
im hating this patch actually, it messed up writing button tooltips in the editor badly.
