In the Data Editor under rewards you can find four new entries: Dragon, Fearless, Opera Mask and Lion. Can anyone figure out how to extract the data images associated with them? They are under the text key Reward/EditorSuffix/Portrait_CN_OperaMask

UPDATE: Blizzard has just announced on the korean site that players can earn these achievements by playing in PCBangs. Here is a rough google translate

PC and ran into the room with friends and enjoy StarCraft II. Fun and a great portrait, two rabbits you can catch all!
So I loaded up a map, took a look...seems these are decal textures, with 3 new portraits(battle.net reward portrait?). So I placed a marine on the map and changed it's decal texture(s)
Dragon has Decal Textures(Protoss, Terran, Zerg) and a Portrait. I like the decal texture... duh lol.
Opera Mask is basically the same as Dragon, 3 decal textures and a Portrait.
Fearless is decal textures only, no portrait. Find it under Chinese - Fearless. I guess it's the han character for "Fearless", cool stuff.
Lion, there's only a Portrait for it, no decal textures.
Attached a picture of the decal textures.
Can't see the decals as unlockables on Bnet however, nor the portraits... perhaps I'm just blind?
I guess the Portraits are buried in the MPQ somewhere... beats me.
Good work Borg. I wonder if the decals have anything to do with Starcraft being released in China. There is a "CN" in the text name. Is CN what Blizz uses for China?
Cookie for anyone who can get those portraits out!

Actually yeah, CN is the China server prefix, good catch, :P.
Can't find Lion, but may be related to Leon, a Blizzard All Stars character.
Also, those portraits aren't the only thing "missing" from the files. This: ui_wol_achievementicons_sheet7.dds has been missing since Patch 1.2, and it includes the icons of the achievements for the official custom maps.
Also, there's some colored Aiur Chef decals. I don't think they fit as rewards, but they're there, 8 in total, representing food-related stuff.
I don't, unfortunately. I could explore the SC2 mpqs, but I'm not familiar with them, while I knew the W3 ones like the palm of my hand. Right now, my bet is that the paths are there for when they introduce the content, so they don't need to edit anything, but there's always the possibility of everything being inside a submpq (like W3 changeable cliffs and terrain textures, as well as some doodads like trees and rocks) or simply encrypted (like the entire game client before the release).
As for the Aiur Chef decals, I think they're only inside the map itself, I haven't checked outside of it (the truth is that I found these news by myself while looking once again after some achievement information on Aiur Chef, which makes me remember, I got distracted with this and didn't proceed with my original plans xDDD).
However, they lack the typical pattern, so I doubt they're of use outside the custom map itself.
I'll check the achievements of Aiur Chef tomorrow, together with the other 2 maps. I didn't look them enough when they were released, and I would like to datamine what those achievements are about with a clear result, to see what we can expect once their beta ends. If I find anything else more, I'll post everything here asap :).
The key of everything is to search by concrete element. Searching in the "big" group picture is useless, since they seem to avoid updating that one (Beta Feat of Strength is still there). If you check the decal group image, it's outdated as far as Patch 1.0, and you'll be confused when you see the new decal elements linking to black positions in that chart, while in truth, there's the image, alone, inside the files, separated from the big picture. I haven't found the portraits yet, but decals are pretty visible under textures in the data/object editor.
Believe or not, I'm still searching for the AI avatar (the one the computers show in the loading screen). I can't find it anywhere, although I haven't looked everywhere yet. That one may hold the key for finding the others.
PS: By the way, where's Lion? I don't see it anywhere, maybe it's because I'm looking from the texture side :S.
I saw the left 2 die achievements before. I think on the whole there is allot of confusion on how to access portraits and how they interface with bnet.
Rather than make a new thread about it im just going to add this here
Remember when we found those feats of strength for the blizzcon 2010 competitors and champions. It appears there are now icons for that on the bnet forums. Also there is new mysterious terran achievment icon which i dont recognize.
That doesn't make sense. For that, they would just have to replace the wrong ones, and save code editing. I think they're for something different, but what, no idea at all. Maybe some tournament? Maybe some in-game event?
As for the 3 new achievement icons, we know 2 are for FoS that, currently, make no sense, so are probably scrapped stuff (like the WoL beta achievement icon, that got replaced by WoW: Cataclysm CE icon). The third one is a complete mystery right now. Doesn't seem to be a FoS, or at least, I can't find references to it anywhere.
However, we were completelly blind with the custom map rewards, and they were inside the files all along, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some information about it inside.
By the way, 2 important questions that may help us in searching through the files:
Where is the "Computer" portrait? you know, the one the computer uses in the loading screen. I can't find it anywhere.
Is there any way to view the descriptions of the achievements inside the files? because I can't find them anywhere, either.
Both of those things are inside the files (you could think they're streamed across Bnet, but not, you view them playing offline, too). I think that if we manage to find them, we may find all the others, too. Maybe they're inside some mpq inside the main mpq, or maybe I'm just blind and overlooked them. Maybe we don't extract properly the mpqlist (remember W3 bonus campaign maps, the mpqeditors didn't detect them, and you had to type manually to find them).
@ArcherofAiur: Go
Only thing I can think of is Blizzard Custom map rewards. One for each map. Or to do with season 1 results.
@wOlfLisK: Go
Yes yes... someone extract Dragon right away, pronto... yes... =D

Chinese beta starting in 4 days.
Anyone have any ideas how to see those portraits?
Surprise! I was going to post these on a thread of my own, but was told there already existed one, so here they go.
Also, I found some "weird" models, of "monkeys" and "Bones", a medic (reference to the TV series? no idea).
Paths here:
the skull/ one is the best ..for my taste.

Lonami do you know how to get at the portraits by looking directly at the mpq?
Also are the aiur chef decals somewhere or are they missing?
I don't, unfortunately. I could explore the SC2 mpqs, but I'm not familiar with them, while I knew the W3 ones like the palm of my hand. Looking at this one more time...
I noticed that all of the portraits link to nonexistant files, but then, in-game, they work fine :S.
Just see for yourselves: go to rewards inside the data editor and check the models of the portraits, they don't exist!
This makes me think that we may be searching them wrong... I'm not sure.
I'll post any updates later.
Edit: Nah, didn't find anything new.
Only this: Left 2 Die achievement names (although I think they were already posted)

And found those new portraits....
maybe it has something to do with chinese censorship?
I think maybe some decals/portraits are not allowed in CN by the government and got replaced with others?
@Khalan3: Go
Wouldn't be surprised, after what happened to WoW in that country.
