I just hope they don't release Diablo 3 like this. It is nice to have Starcraft 2 in my hands, but its still broken. Its like having a computer that half works. You can get work done on it, but can't play games on it. Oh well I guess Starcraft 2 is just the beta test for b.net 2.0.
Plus some of the programmers from what I have heard have gone over to Diablo 3. So it is true that it would have been faster before release, but then that would push Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 back. It always comes back to, "do you want it now bugged, or have it later and fixed for the most part?"
but its only easier because they dont have to do the crazy work that comes with making and deploying a patch. the work itself wont be effected in a single way, I think you think it adds more time than it really does. I mean truthfully the only thing thats glitched is the lobby... the game itself works very nicely...
[plus it would cost a lot more to delay it...and thats not good either]
Yeah, but our point is it would be WAY BETTER if they just fixed this during the beta. They have plenty of programming experts who I BET just sit around and play sc2 more than they should be doing. Although the amount of time the work may take is the same, they still will not add it cuz they need to be SURE it has no bugs and is really good. A blizz mod even said that during the beta they made changes fast without alot of thought, but now they cant do it. The same applies to battle net 2.0. So our only point is they should have fixed it during the beta. It does not take THAT long to change the popularity system. Jeez, even just adding a search bar would help.

the only part of that, that was true was "It's much easier to fix a glitch before the game is released" After that, not true at all as it would not speed it up by any great deal. It still requires the exact same changes, the only trick now is, the sending of the patch.
End point: im still having fun. if they held it back, I wouldn't be.
I had fun when I read about this, and waiting for the chaos to soon begin. Its probably going to start very soon for US. Ether now, or an hour or 2.
I believe blizzard deleted some of the threads because there were more. For example, I can't find the one Laertes opened. There were about 6-7 posts together, from different people.

I can still find the original 1st thread after the 1st one was deleted.
i counted a good 6 at least still. its a holiday,9:37PM (blizz time) ... def none working. Though they might have like one solo mod just to make sure the forums dont get to crazy lol

Something that is easier is usually made faster, with less reunions to discuss it.
